Honda NSX GT500 '00 - BOP - Racing Medium tires - All track - 1.48

I'm doing a new BOP power and weight setting for my GR3 cars. A lot of people are racing online using this base, with stock or custom gearbox.
Superior grip , very safe , max springs & mini dampers are the settings that i prefer for this car. Anyway they don't do a big performance difference , just a sensation and i feel good this way.
LSD is very important and change a lot the behavior. You can low braking sensivity a few if you're a top driver. I prefer be regular and comfortable. Gearbox is ok for most grip/speed track , like SPA or Suzuka....

This is a safer setting , still very fast , it seems some players like this car this way . Up to you.

Love this on the Fuji All Japan Championship in this week's daily challenges! I was struggling to get the win with standard settings and power using RH. First time using this on RH, standard gearbox and with a solidish drive I managed the win. I recommend it highly. Probably the best of the special challanges so far ❤️

The same suspension setup of minimum damping and maximum spring rate also works on the Supra GT500 '97. It seems quite a bit faster than the stock setting and also the one published here. It makes a mockery of tuning really

The Abarth 1500 biposto bertone is now on the legend dealership and is one of the very few legends I couldn't find a tune from you.

Do you plan on doing one or have an older one around?

I have the car already. The only option for this car is Alsace 460PP. To let it +- performant you need to stay with original suspension and others originals parts . This is the only way to keep the power on. Not very fun to drive ....

It can be a decent 550PP also but still rear end weird behaviors sometime . I'll publish tomorrow i think.
Finally i'll not publish anything for this car , very bad drive . Even extremes settings are not helping at all. It'll take some dust till the next physics update...

Top 500PP car , sub 8 minutes on Nordschleife. Very easy to drive fast and forgive the inputs driving mistakes . Perfect to race against the Toyota S-FR '15. Same pace.

I ended up with 251hp with the 6 engine mods installed. Can you check it out?

Big fan of yours and wanted to ask if you can have a look at the F40...
I think you played around with it as an engine swap back in update 1.36 but it is a car that is back on my radar with the current JGTC races and the release of the NSX.
I am building a custom race with the GT500 class and making my own Diablo, 993s, McLaren and F40 grid to go with them and fancy giving the F40 a go at c700pp on RH. It is ,entry fast enough in a straight line stock but I hope you can make it dance a bit!

I built this car last night to your spec. Such a fun drive, especially Nordschleife. And yes, good memory of a classic car for us 'slightly older' drivers particularly.

I recently built an F40 using Praiano's 'Swap' build as a guide. Kept the engine stock, but used the suspension, diff, gear settings. Can't remember what else I did, but it's a good place to start.

I'm sorry master but unfortunately there was a misunderstanding between the two of us, I actually meant the 1999 Nissan gtr gt500 and not the 2016 one. Would you still be able to do a setup for it? obviously always for Fuji with the bop. I would be really grateful

The car is showing a huge understeer tendency. The only way to correct this horrible behavior is to using extremes downforce settings . You can use a LSD 5/10/5 if you like the car more a few more loose but i like it this way. Also possible to raise acceleration sensivity LSD settings if you have a good throttle control. Up to you.

L'auto mostra un'enorme tendenza al sottosterzo. L'unico modo per correggere questo comportamento orribile è utilizzare impostazioni estreme di carico aerodinamico. Puoi usare un LSD 5/10/5 se ti piace di più la macchina un po' più sciolta, ma a me piace così. È anche possibile aumentare le impostazioni dell'LSD della sensibilità all'accelerazione se si dispone di un buon controllo dell'acceleratore. Sta a te.

I donated to Praiano, only 20usd, but he has done so much for my racing. I have used dozens of your tunes, and it has made driving so much fun. Thankyou man! I appreciate all of the work you put in, and your eye for the application. Come on everyone and donate a few dollars at least. 12million views, 12k post/replies. Thats ridiculous numbers on here!!! Think about all of the time he has saved you. I can count over a dozen cars that were undriveable stock, I don’t have the skill or time to figure each one out. Think about how much fun they are now. You can push them. Thankyou Sir!

Just checking on the brake balance, did you set it back to 0 from the 2 on the previous build, thx?

A quick question. I don't race online so forgive me if I sound stupid for asking it.

In what circumstances would one use a BOP tune? Is it because certain online races require BOP?

If someone is like me and only races single player, should I just ignore the BOP tunes you post? Or could I still benefit from them?

Brake balance like some suspensions settings are almost cosmetic since last physics update . Very difficult to feel any difference between -5 or +5.

BOP settings have no Offline use. In game AI are very bad, AI cars are like obstacle race not fast opponents. Sophy is better but far to be ok. The only way to race in my opinion is oline lobby. For GR race cars , 4 / 3 / 2 / 1 BOP is very well balanced.
There is a lot of others cars you can use Offline but i think you have to try it , i'm sure you'll love it sometime. Good luck.

For one thing, the gears are all messed up from various updates, but it just doesn't quite feel right to me and I'm just curious if there's anything you would change, given that the game has gone through lots of physics changes since then. Appreciate it very much.

I'll check it , this is one of my favorite car at this level. Physics didn't change since 1.31. They only turn the suspensions settings almost to 0 . They freeze everything.
On a scale of 10 , basing on the pre 1.30 update , suspensions settings on car's behaviors now:
Ride height = 3
ARB = 1
Both Damping = 2
Springs = 3
Camber = 0 (I can't feel any change at all)
TOE angle = 2 (minor change)

Diffirential , downforce and ballast are still very effective.

It's a shame. At least most of the cars are ok , just a few broken cars in GT7.

Is there any way you could do a tune for the corvette gr. 3 road car? I’ve used the one you have for the mustang gr.3 road car and it feels amazing going around the nord. Thanks!

There is a tune for the engine swap version done if that would fulfil your need

You're welcome.Like @noblepancake mentioned , this car is in the SWAP ENGINE list post 3. You can use for both engines , power and weight are ok in this case.

Good performance , not a top 700PP car but enjoyable to drive. Very good on Le Mans 700PP event due to a low gas consumption. 3 laps on FM 1 easy.
Upshift out slow and medium turns due to torque coming together at high RPM , also because only clutch and flywheel are "normal part" available , you'll some acceleration performance during shifting gears.

I did a quick test at 600PP on Tokyo , the car was reasonably fast but not so fun to drive. 550PP is the perfect spot for this build , one of the faster 550PP road car on Nordschleife.
Important to shift at 8000 RPM , peak power is at 7200 RPM.
