Since people like my Like The Wind writeup, i'll do another.;) After reading Der Alta's compendium, i decided that the best car for me would be the Spoon S2000 that i won from the Amateur Type R meeting. Upgrades are: racing suspension, sport brakes, brake balance controller, sport muffler, chip, NA Stage 1, Port Polish, Engine Balancing, Twin Plate Clutch, Racing Flywheel, LSD full customization, Carbon Driveshaft, T2, T5, and T8 tires.

Grand Valley- 10 laps

Now for qualifying:

Starting Lineup after 2 laps

1. Spoon S2000 (me:D)- 1:58.186
2. TVR Griffith 500- 1:59.479
3. Motorsport Elise- 2:01.158 (evidence AI cheats)
4. ZZS- 2:02.054
5. Elise 190- 2:02.365
6. S2000 Type V- 2:06.912

I qualified 1.293 sec faster than the Griffith on Medium Tires. This should be a very good 10 laps as i have T2's on reserve.;) Less grip initally, but they'll last 10 laps. Now off to the GV 50 km race; bought to you by RVD TV & the creators of GT3.:D Sponsored by the people of Spoon Inc.

Lap 1: Just as the field heads off into Turn 1, the Griffith w/ his V8 power slips by the Spoon S2000. As the Griffith starts to pull away, the Spoon S2000 is challenged by the Motorsport Elise. Then when the field enters the second sharp hairpin, the S2000 gets spun on the exit. Now that i'm back up to race speed, it's time to kick some Lotus butt!!!!!! My tires are still cold, so it'll take a few laps until i can get revenge. Just as we're about to cross the start/ finish line, i slip by the S2000 Type V for 5th.

Lap 2: The TVR is starting to outrun the pack but he may have to pit in a few laps. Spoon's driver is in his groove and kicking ass right now!!! As we come through the tunnel sections the Spoon car is starting to close in on the ZZS for 4th spot. Now that we're out of the final chicane, the S2000 is within striking distance of the ZZS. That car is handling very good for the driver. He lost some time though as the car pushed off the final turn.

Lap 3: The field storms through the esses at the beginning of GV. The Spoon S2000's tires are warmed up and he's closing on the ZZS and the Elise 190 coming into a tight hairpin turn. The Spoon makes the pass even though he slid through the grass before the turn and slammed into the Elise.;) Now that he's out of the back of the pack, let's see what he can do w/ the front runners.

Lap 4: So far the Spoon hasn't made up much ground on the 2 front runners, but he is starting to see the Motorsport Elise. Reports are flying around the pits that the Spoon will plan revenge on that car when he gets close enough.;) The driver of the Spoon said this: "My car is handling like it's on rails." which is bad news for his competitors. *especially the Motorsport Elise:lol:*

Lap 5: The S2000 is now inching closer to the Elise and Griffith after the lap 1 spin. The Spoon S2000 is now within 1 sec of the Elise, which is making the Lotus crew **** themselves. The Griffith's crew is preparing for their driver to come in for tires. This means that it'll be a demo derby between the Elise and S2000 when he dives into the pits. The S2000 and Elise are bumper to bumper off the final turn as the Griffith pits. S2000 passes the Elise right at the line.

Lap 6: The S2000 backs off and lets the Elise by, to set up the revenge plan. The Elise got nervous and slid into the gravel trap outside Turn 1, giving the Spoon the lead. The crowd's gone absolutely insane as their favorite driver has taken the lead.:D As the Griffith comes back out on the track in 5th spot, we'll have to keep an eye on him, cause that car is fast on new tires. The S2000 runs a little wide off the final chicane, but keeps going.

Lap 7: The S2000 is opening up a small gap on the Elise, w/ the Griffith still stuck in traffic. As he comes into Turn 6, he brakes late and slides into the grass nearly spinning out, but regains control. A scary moment for the Spoon team, but the car looks to be back up to speed. The Elise gained a little ground on him, but still hasn't taken back the lead yet.

Lap 8: The Spoon brakes a little late going into turn 1 and runs wide, but keeps all 4 wheels on the track. The current lead over the Elise is 4.55 sec, w/ the Griffith coming back from the lap 5 pitstop. He also runs wide into the 2nd tight hairpin, but keeps going. The crew told him after the 2nd incident: "Calm down and hit your marks; this race ain't over yet." Seems like the Elise didn't get a good run off of the final turn, as he lost more ground to the S2000.

Lap 9: There may be a brake problem w/ the S2000 as he once again overshoots turn 1 but keeps going. But the Elise is still losing ground to him as the interval grows to 6.338 sec at the first time sector. Now it seems that the brakes are just fine on the S2000, he just overheated them a little. The Spoon S2000 is handling good, even though the tires are starting to give up. One car appears to be going down pit road, not sure which one yet. It's the Motorsport Elise, apparently the driver of that car has no brains and pits on lap 9/10. The Elise 190 also pits on lap 9.

Lap 10: The crowd is screaming so loud for the driver of the Spoon S2000 that noone can hear the cars fly by pit lane. His crew just told him this: "You've got this race, just be smooth." As the Elise pits, the TVR Griffith 500 moves into 2nd, 11.078 sec down from the lead driver. The Spoon is only 1 turn from victory in the GV 50 km race. As he rounds the final turn, the crowd starts chanting, "RVD, RVD, RVD!" He crosses the line and takes the win by quite a margin over the Griffith.

Trial Mountain- 10 laps

I've got the same upgrades and settings as last time, so it's straight to qualifying:

Starting Lineup after 2 laps

1. Spoon S2000 (me:D)- 1:29.540
2. Griffith 500- 1:30.721
3. ZZS- 1:33.249
4. Elise 190- 1:33.583
5. RUF 3400S- 1:34.247
6. S2000 Type V- 1:35.814

Once again i grab the pole by 1.181 sec on T5 tires. Seems like another good race for all the viewers of RVD TV, bought to you by Polyphony Digital. Sponsored by Spoon Sports.;) Off we go to the Trial Mountain 40 km:

Lap 1: The Spoon S2000 gets the inital jump, but runs wide in the first corner allowing the Griffith to pass him. As the field comes down the backstretch, the Spoon is only 0.404 sec out of the lead at Sector 2. A moment for the Spoon team as their driver brushes the wall coming off of turn 8. The Griffith also slid wide costing him some time. The Griffith is starting to open a small advantage on the field because of his softer tire compound.

Lap 2: Coming off Turn 3, the S2000 runs a little wide and does some lawnmowing. The spotter says the car looks fine.;) Then as he comes off of Turn 7, the car jumps sideways on cold tires but misses the wall by inches. TVR is happy as their car is over 2 sec out in front now. As the S2000'S tires start to warm up, the interval may start to shrink between him and the TVR. Interval after 2 laps is 3.470 sec.

Lap 3: Off of turn 5, the S2000 breaks loose but controls it. The interval has shrunken slightly between the Spoon and TVR. The interval has regrown due to the TVR's horsepower advantage over the rest of the field. The S2000's crew knows that the TVR can't go much further on their tires so they said this to the driver: " The TVR should be in the pits w/ in a few laps, hang in there." The S2000 just bumped the wall coming out of the final chicane, costing him valuable time.

Lap 4: Now that the S2000's tires are fully warmed up, he should be at top handling now. Interval is about 4 sec behind the TVR. He just got on the radio and said, "This car kicks ass!"

Lap 5: He gets a little sideways coming through the first set of corners. His crew chief said: "Stop driving like an idiot, we need to make the tires last 10 laps.:P" The TVR pit crew appears to be getting ready for a pit stop soon w/ in the next 2 laps. As the tires on the TVR start to give up, the S2000 closes up a little bit more.

Lap 6: More trouble for the S2000 coming off of turn 5. He got the car in the grass and slid sideways, slamming into the rocks on the other side of the track. The car may have been seriously damaged in the accident. He just slammed the wall again coming into turn 7. The crew chief is calling him in to look at the damage and see what they can do about it. The TVR has just come down pit road for 4 new tires, handing the lead to the Spoon S2000. *if he can hold on to it;)*

Lap 7: The S2000 is holding on to the lead even though his front end is smashed in.:D Once again the crowd went wild as he took the lead when the TVR pitted. Now crew chief George Bush is pissed off that his driver is driving a car that's been slammed into rocks. :P He's still increasing the interval over the ZZS.

Lap 8: RVD's spotter Colin Powell is ordering him to pit this time or face "complete and utter destruction.  " But RVD won't pit because he's smart.:P The S2000 has been handling extremely well, despite the 2 hard crashes on lap 6.

Lap 9: The Spoon S2000 has stretched the lead to over 10 sec at this point in the race. He just said this to Colin Powell: "My car's been handling better since the crashes." Coming into the backstretch tunnel, RVD slides the car and tags the wall w/ the right rear of the car, but keeps moving. As he crosses the line at the end of lap 9, the 110,000 people on hand were cheering him on.:D

Lap 10: The interval over the ZZS is now over 12 sec. If RVD can bring the car home in 1 piece, it'll be a miracle for the entire Spoon pit crew.:P For the second lap in a row, RVD gets loosem off of turn 7 and tags the wall w/ the right rear corner, but keeps on truckin'. As RVD comes through the final chicane, the crowd is on their feet because he's won his 2nd straight race of the season.:D

Cote D' Azur- 15 laps

After extensive repairs to the Spoon S2000, it's ready to race 15 laps of a tough track.;) Here's the way they'll line up for the start:

Starting Lineup after 2 laps

1. Spoon S2000 (me:D)- 1:42.190
2. Griffith 500- 1:46.013
3. RUF 3400S- 1:47.557
4. ZZS- 1:49.448
5. Elise 190- 1:50.832
6. S2000 Type V- 1:52.079

After qualifying on the pole by 3.913 sec on T5's *once again;)*. it seems like the comp isn't at their best form for this track. The S2000 was handling perfectly for the driver around this tight & twisty track. Now off to the Monaco 50 km race, bought to you by RVD TV and Polyphony Digital.:D Sponsored by Pepsi Cola. Let's go racing!:

Lap 1: The Spoon S2000 jumps off to a slight lead over the Griffith coming through the first few turns. With most of the field on cold tires, there was some slipping and sliding. As the field comes onto the backstretch, the TVR bumps into the wall. Coming into the box chicane, the Spoon brakes late and goes wide, but keeps it off the wall. The TVR however smashes the wall coming through, dropping several spots in the process. So far the lead is about 2 sec. Looks like noone except the Spoon got the setup right.:P

Lap 2: I accidently step on the controller and unpause it, causing my S2000 to veer hard into the wall. This has cost the driver several seconds. As usual he keeps driving on foward. The RUF 3400S appears to have a good setup as he isn't hitting the wall like the rest of the comp.;) Coming into turn 9, the Spoon brakes too late and hits the wall again, costing him more time.

Lap 3: The field has begun to spread out due to who has the right set and who doesn't. Interval at first sector is 3.165 sec. TVR and their car are coming back after that hard lap 1 crash into the box chicane barrier. Lead over the 2nd place continues to grow as the tires warm up on the Spoon.

Lap 4: Coming into turn 4, the S2000 brakes late and does a massive slide, but is able to keep the car from bouncing off the wall.;) Interval at sector 2 has grown to 7.929 sec. The crowd is starting to chant, "RVD, RVD, RVD!!!:D" as he passed by turn 12's grandstands.

Lap 5: The TVR Griffith and RUF 3400S are in a fierce battle for 2nd through the switchback hairpins. However, the Spoon driver is getting bored up front w/ out any competiton. The TVR muscles 2nd from the 3400S, but as we know he'll have to pit in the next few laps.

Lap 6: The RUF got back around the TVR at the start/ finish line for 2nd. Now the 2 drivers are in a battle up the esses just after turn 1. The TVR just got back around the RUF for 2nd at the 1st sector. RVD just said this to crew chief George Bush, "Now that the car's hit its groove, let's kick some ass! " This battle between the 3400S and Griffith has been heating up lately, as they're swapping positions everywhere on the track.

Lap 7: Coming into turn 1, the Spoon bumps the inside guardrail but keeps on moving. The interval between 1st & 2nd has grown to 19.516 sec @ sector 1. The Spoon S2000 just got one hell of a run through the box chicane, making the fans and his crew happy. The Griffith has lost several seconds to the RUF due to tire wear. He should be in soon for new rubber.

Lap 8: Off the 2nd switchback hairpin, RVD gets the car sideways and hits the wall on the inside. Car appears to be okay though.;) Off of turn 12, the S2000 runs wide and hits the wall again. *apparently it's magnetically attracted to walls:P*

Lap 9: Coming off the box chicane, RVD gets loose and slams the outside wall. *again* The lead over the RUF 3400S is over 26 sec at this point, making this a very boring race. Spotter Colin Powell reports that there is heavy damage on the front of the car. One car just got stuck at the box chicane which may bring out a caution.

Lap 10: No caution as the car freed itself from the wall, but cost that driver several seconds to the S2000. Entering the box chicane, RVD clips the inside wall and damages the Spoon even further.:P

Lap 11: Lead over the RUF 3400S is now 33.684 sec. Wonder how much more boring this race will get. The Griffith finally dives into the pits after 10 laps for 4 new tires. RVD has started to push the S2000 a little bit w/ 4 laps to go.

Lap 12: The lead has grown so massive that the Spoon S2000's driver has gotten bored. At the end of 11 laps, the RUF 3400S pits for new tires handing 2nd place to the ZZS. Interval now is only 46.015 sec. Crew chief George Bush said this to RVD a few seconds ago: "You're doing great, just don't hit the wall anymore.;)"

Lap 13: The S2000 keeps extending the massive lead that he's built up. Can RVD keep his sanity for another 2 laps? That question was just answered by George Bush & Colin Powell w/ a yes.:P

Lap 14: Just after he crosses the finish, the other S2000 gets put 1 lap down coming out of the pits. Now RVD turns on the radio in his S2000 and starts driving faster.:D Guess all he needed to avoid insanity in his car was the radio.

Lap 15: Coming off the final turn for the last time; the crowd is on their feet as RVD wins his 3rd straight race in the Pro Spider & Roadster series!!:D Another great race bought to you by RVD TV and Polyphony Digital.
