How does the driving feel compare to how it felt in PC2?
Well......

The good - The option to have my favorite car in different colors 👍

The bad - No DRS or KERS

The sound is horrible compare to pcars 2

The driving in general in pcars 3 is nowhere near pcars 2 but still better then gt sport.

Overall you won't see me put over 140k miles on this p1 gtr like i did in pcars 2 cause i enjoy the driving in that game i cant really say the same for this one.

Do we know if there are plans to add the other 2 Classic Monza Track variations?

It bugs me more than it should.
Imagine how i felt when i saw those two variations of my favorite track from pcars 2 missing. :(

I'm so sorry to hear that.

It's interesting though, an apt description of the differences in games.

Regarding this car, NOBODY better chime in to give a differing view!

Or something close to that!

Yeah I feel people over there are a bit delusional and have drinken the kool-aid. Can't take anything said there seriously and find myself rolling my eyes quite a bit. I found it best to stay away and let them enjoy their game, no harm in that for me.

In fact I find it best to not even mention it from here on out. I'm sure they browse these forums and I'd rather not draw their attention here to be honest.

Actually you’ve a very good point, great thing about here is that discussion can take place freely, usually without getting too out of hand. And it’s important to discuss the details without the fear of the infamous ban hammer that is the scourge of other sites.

After one week of playing, I have to say that this PC3 is really a rough diamond.

So unfinished and unpolished, and at the same time so appealing and interesting to play.

It surely has simpler physics than PC2, but at the same time probably the best controller gameplay in a racing title.

It's also unfortunate how it performs on consoles (base and pro models), because this does not help to attract new potential buyers.

It is quite a pity they have released (or forced to release) the game in such half baked state, because with just more polish and attention, this game could have been epic.

I hope they will support it, improving and refining it as it deserves.
It is a damn good racing GAME, in the best sense of the word.

That ban hammer only is used when people start to insult the devs though... And in an excessive manner.
Everyone is free to discuss the game but have to realise that the forum is sponsored by SMS and can be closed by them real fast.

@Famine, I come bearing gifts. Through various forms of research I've been able to assemble a list of road lengths for every track in the game.

Feel free to add them to your database :)

Last night i try to continue the career mode but i just couldn't get into it, in all honesty the only fun i have found in this game has been seeing how high the player level can go.

Up to 114 and counting 👍

@PJTierney Nope no DRS or KERS for the p1 gtr and the fxx-k doesn't have kers either

How does the electric power work in those cars, just automatically from throttle input?

Meanwhile over on pc3 forum, sum dix ead is still arguing that a black crow is white and everyone else is clearly colour blind.
Or something close to that!

That's not quite true, he's very happy with ffb and physics. And he's correct, they're both very good.
You won't really hear him arguing with folk who are unhappy with other aspects of the game though.

No need for the cheap shot you did there with his forum name either, grow up.

Its auto on trackday cars like the p1 gtr and fxx-k but since pcars 3 gives you control with L1 on the ds4.

Makes me wonder if that's the reason they didn't include kers on the fxxk and p1 gtr cause the manufactures didn't want kers to be manual on there cars?

That’s not a universally held view, the FFB is better out of the box, but ultimately in comparison to PC2 I would not agree that they are ‘very good’.

Are SMS posted somewhere the progress of a patch, when to expect anything? At this point not bother with free tracks or dlc at all. Got my eyes hurt after Nürburgring sprind in road C.

I strongly recommend the Porsche 935/77 at Mugello or Mugello short on one-make races or same class races.

This combo is a lot of fun.

I have a request for anyone that has both pcars 3 and gts could you do a graphics comparison between the two games on the ps4 pro.

With gts being 3 years old now pcars 3 should easily beat it in the graphics department ;)

Graphic department has a lot to do with artistic talent, technical talent, the render engine and optimization. The 3 years old condition has not a big influence this time IMO (being on the same hardware).

I've found this (ps4 pro) :

I thought that I will disable supersampling for the moment to see what the whole fuss is about and...

...MY GOD is this 2020? Seriously? (I've tried this game without SS for the first time now and this is really unacceptable if it looks like this on consoles  )

This is the only info we've got for now.

My tv doesn't even allow SS best i can do is lower the resolution down to 1080p.
