Project CARS 3's Next DLC Leaks Ahead of Official Launch

'One off prototype that will knock your sock off" is it the toyota GR supersport? And the Le mans hypercar?
Could be. They would be an interesting addition, although I'm not sure how they would sit alongside the other cars in the pack. While they are not stadium racers they certainly could come under the power pack title though. :)

How about the Nissan IDx concept in both race and street versions

Anything else while we're at it? Coffee? Newspaper? Slippers?

ahah I'm only kidding!

There's loads and loads of cars that we'd like to bring into the game, but not always possible. Rest assured though, you at least got one thing (not one car, one THING) right on your little wishlist ;)
Does anyone even get a newspaper anymore? Like a real paper thrown on the driveway or porch? Have not seen an actual newspaper in years.

Would love some news that the performance has been improved in the rain. The game is enjoyable but even grinds to a halt on a Series X when the heavens open.
Same on PS4 standard. I quit trying the weather as the graphics turn to crap. Even notice it if you have full amount of cars on the track in Custom Races the graphics are junk when you are around the other cars then clears up once you are away from them. I just run in clear skies mid day and that seems to be the best it can look. I wish SMS could get it fixed.

I get fps drops from 75 on pc (1070) and it's probably getting hit on the PS4 console.

It won't be long, I will have to get a new video card. My processor should be good for another two years.

Just hope onto PC3 and I honestly dislike the new track. Can’t wait to struggle with the objectives in Pace Setter and Hot Lap events. It’s like each DLC is getting harder and harder.

The new tracks complex is really fun to do with small categories, I love it! I tried in Road E with the Escort, a GT C (awd), and in Formula Rookie and it was a hit every time.
I have the impression that they calmed the A.I., if so: phew yes! I took 21 to 31 opponents each time and it was really nice brawl level, we are less bumped.
So, very good 1st impressions!

Give it a go with the Super/Stadium Trucks in the wet, at night on either of the loops that go outside the stadium. Silly amounts of sideways fun to be had.

My club’s “Meme Race” is Super Trucks at Texas Speedway oval in a thunderstorm. It’s surprisingly good pack racing, we often have 4 cars within a tenth after 10 laps.

Just to update regarding the performance issues I was having on the Series X during the rain.... well, I'm staggered.
Either this patch has completely eliminated it, or a previous one fixed it since I stopped playing. I've thrown a full grid onto a number of tracks with both transitions to rain or starting off with it and it doesn't drop a beat.
Fantastic work.

I notice an improvement in the rain during night races: higher and stable frame rate on my ps4pro.

The AI seems als less twitchy after the last patch.

The game just crashed on me at the end of a breakout rivals event. So no change there unfortunately. The blue screen crashes on PS4 could really do with being moved up to the top of the things to fix list.

But otherwise, yes I think there are a few performance improvements.

Rain, cloudy and at night reduces the framerate somewhat. I'm surprised that races setup like this with an almost full grid are part of the career mode as it highlights that the consoles / engine have problems. I'll work my way through and hope that races with this setup are not very frequent and that the game is improved with further patches.
