Also, I kinda broke mine trying to clean it, i mean, nothing cracked, but I'm a jackass at cleaning things, It turns on and stuff, but it dosen't play disks... Thanks alot.

with the mods, can you play jpn games AND american games?

Type in "PS2 mod chip" into a Google search and you'll get the sites you will need.

Were you cleaning the laser lense? If you scratched that, you might as well buy a new PS2 because getting that part fixed is too expensive.

Yes, with a mod, you can play both US games and Japanese games.

best site IMO is modchip.ca ... they're very reliable and have a us office... if u dont wanna solder, buy a fliptop lid with swap magic disks. safe as u can get
