Hi,

I've lost my password of one of my accounts.
Currently it is saved on the console, but that shows as ******.

Is there any way to recover or reset password without d.o.b?
Guess I filled something in to collect a ticket....

Any advice is appreciated, useless comments will be ignored :)

Thanks and cheers

Then wait.

You may need to provide details that the account is yours.

If you ever used a credit card you may need to provide that number.

Unless you used a fake email address you should be able to reset it through there.

Why did you not use your actual date of birth?

Ah, ok.

I forgot the date of birth, as I created it a long time ago for a ticket...
Do you at least remember what car you got? Then we'd have the year.

Day and Month would be more difficult though.

Otherwise call the sony support. Email doesn't work very well from my experience.

Thanks all, will call them on Monday.

Meanwhile I'll start GTA V again on my other account....

Oké, called with Sony....

Since they qualify the account as "non-important". (I use it for gaming and haven't bought any items on that account)
They are not willing to reset the password....

:(

Why are you using this account at all, if you just created it for a ticket anyway?
By the way, I'm not surprised Sony won't support, since you've clearly lied about your date of birth and I guess also other informations. The account breaks the terms of service.

This is how I managed to reset Couple accounts of mine.

"Email Sony saying I forgot my date of birth and I want to reset my password. Next you will get a link to reset pass. :) Hope this helps.

G.T.Ace: 80% of people lie for date of birth.. Some shouldn't be allowed on PSN Network alone.. Nothing to stop them...

So what? None of these should expect official support.
I also have some fake accounts so I can enter foreign PS Stores, but I don't expect support.

@TheKitten, I've mailed them again, as their first mail told me to call their support phone number.
Which I cannot do (got their UK number) but that is not accessible from The Netherlands.
The Dutch support line was not very helpfull....

So the story continues :)

Edit: Closing thread, broke their policy one more time by.....lol
