Questions about hybrids and GT3

Couple of Questions....

Is it all perforamce modifiactions (higher Hp, tranny form another car etc. etc.)?

Can you also change the appearance of the car (mix and match exterior parts, resize parts etc. etc.)?

Does any one have any pictures of hybrids that they or some one else made?

As of right now, it's only performance and can only be done through a Sharkport with a 3rd party program by MK.

is that strictly true? what about AR2's X-Port? and i heard a few people who were doin hybrids using a text editor like notepad

no exterior mods, you can change tire size though. Still really fun to make hybrids...

i also have seen pics of stretched cars etc, i guess putting car body on different chassis? What about changing the colour?

Xport 2 is for the pal users and works fine. The editing done in notepad is the .ini file that mk's program can export.(car files) If you look at the CL600 in this thread it's setting on an F1 chassis and does indeed look to be stretched out.

We believe the game trys to fit the car and chassis to a degree but the wheelbase has to be fairly close.

Also there is a carshine mod we are using that shows up nicely in this thread, also alot of pics.
