Racing Seat - From where to buy?

Guys,

I need some help from you! I want to purchase a Racing Seat (bucket seat - call it what you like) for my DIY cockpit, however prices are quite sky high. I want to purchase one which does not exceed Euro 100. Any ideas from where can I buy one?

Any help from European guys would be appreciated as I live in Europe and do not want to spend twice the seat price for shipping.

For a leather one try a junkyard otherwise for 100 euro I think you may have a hard time.

I know you said euro guys, although im aussie and got my seat from an aussie seller, i cant see why a similar thing would not be available from where your from, keep in ming this is aussie dollars , i got a black reclining one and i was shocked at how good the quality was for that price.

Guys... tried and tried. Seats on Ebay are damn expensive when considering shipping. I've found a seat for Eur 95 but I still have to check on the shipping.

In case one of you comes across something, please let me know! Thanks!
 
If there is a local racing club etc. near you, you could always ask them. (if it needs to be a bucket seat)

Or just browse your local sites for these kind of things.. There are loads of seats on sale, you just need to find them 👍

So what was wrong with my junkyard suggestion? Have you called around??
 
stega... to tell you the truth haven't tried going round yet. Malta is a very small country and in scrap yards you'll probably find cars bought some 40-50 years ago - not joking! I will have a look however in some scrap yards to see if I'll manage to find a seat from some cars which have been destroyed in an accident.
 
I donno if craigslist is as popular where you are as it is here, but i would look if i were you. i bought 2 apc bucket seats for $100 canadian with rails. Craigslist is also good because you dont have to pay shipping!
 
Guys bought 1! Got it for Eur110. No particular brand - but looks quite ok. Soon I will be starting a thread with me building my DIY cockpit :) Thank you for your help!
