So I'm thinking about downloading the trial for Autodesk Maya. I noticed the System Requirements say you have to have at LEAST 2GB of RAM. Well, I just looked up my RAM amount, and here's the exact amount.

1.998046875 GB of RAM.

Well, that's not that far off, but I'm not that educated on this subject, so .01 might make all the difference. That's why I'm asking someone who does know a little on this matter if I would be able to run it without slowing down.

Doesn't matter.

Are you running a laptop/pc with integrated graphics?

I'm running a Laptop, but I don't know if it's integrated or dedicated. I do however know the Video Card is a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M. Don't know if this helps though. I was able to run GMAX great when I still had it installed, so I imagine they shouldn't be too much different due to them being fairly related.

EDIT: Did some research on my Graphics Card, I've found that is more in design with 3D CAD and Rendering. So that means it will go in line with 3DS Max, and Autodesk Maya.

Sometimes if you have a chipset with integrated graphics (like nearly all laptops), with a discrete mobile GPU, the chipset will still take a 1MB or so and assign it to the integrated GPU, even though it isn't being used.
