Having troubles with my Linksys WRT54GS. Had it for 4 years and I´m looking for a replacement. Any wireless routers that´s known to work well with GT5P?

haha
I have the same one but with no S in the end.
Works well for me, Only had 3 problems when DL any patch ( Never DL the Version II tho)

I love my Dlink router! It's a DLG-4100. That particular one is wired, but they also make a wireless variant. It's been rock solid since the day I got it. Can't say anything about its performance with GT5p downloads, but I haven't had a failed ps3 download yet.

I have a SMC WBR14S-N2, it does not really work that good :( , so this is a anti-recommendation.

I've just bought a Buffalo router. I got it from Argos (UK) it was only £50 and It works brilliantly with PS3/GTP5.

Ive got the free one which came with Talk Talk Broadband, works like a charm on GT5P and other games..

I have a Linksys WRT54G which has been faultless for the years we have been using it. It just doesn't like several things connecting to it - it disconnects the whole network for a second or two. But I guess that's to be expected.

There maybe a replacement for it now though.

Without a doubt, Buffalo - especially for wireless.

I've used routers from Linksys, D-Link, and Netgear and the Buffalo is by far the best. It's reliable (doesn't overheat and won't die on you after six months), doesn't drop connections, and you can flash it with third party firmware.

well I have the same router but not with the S actually I have the WRT54GL the L stands for linux and so you can flash it with custom firmware like dd-wrt it never, its as stable as a rock and yesterday I dl`led the update at the first tray even though bittorent even under heavy network usage. I can only recommend the wrt54gl or all buffalo`s one which also can be equipped with custom firmware.
