Porsche 930 MBB Rally

Let's jump on the moaning train: I want something changed in GT7. The plates should be at least in a specific area moveable. On some cars it doesn't hurt too much, but on others it is a real pain in the backend to get it Sport Mode compatible. Exactly this happened to the 930 I had left from the DWG a few weeks ago. So I needed a workaround to place a main sponsor and was reminded of the Boss 924. To save the 70s/80s vibe I went with MBB, Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm, most famous for their helicopters like the Bo105. At some point I went with a Safari/Rally modification as I have made quite a few in the last days :scared: Spotted unfortunately a small mistake as I have overseen to make the side skirt matte. Not sure if this is acceptable or a nightmare, but I decided to fight my OCD and left it unchanged (yet).

Fiat 500 Cross

Finally, a new update. Three new cars, a 90s JDM Coupé, a Racecar and what car have I choosen first to make something in the livery editor. The Fiat 500 1.2 8V. And I made a crossover out of it. Sometimes I wonder how many times I had fallen as a baby down the wrapping table. This example features only on the back a undergroud protection as the front has some plastic below which can´t be wrapped. Checked this creation on the Nürburgring where it is capable of two things: Staying 90% in 3rd gear and lapping it in about 10:25 seconds.

Visit Miami Mustang GT3 - LEC 50

There are things I do not touch normally, cause I am a boring guy. One of them are these fluorescent colours in GTS. That's too much for me and is hurting my eyes. But I have a good excuse why I have done this, for the 50th edition of the Livery Editor Competition. My first idea was making somekind of Plutonium-Nuclear Power advertisment car, but as I wanted to start my work I realized, that I have yet only purchased 4 paintchips, two gloss and 2 matte. So my first plan was pretty fast a piece of history and it took me 3 days to find another idea for this. It's my coworkers fault. He weared one of these random disgusting Miami Beach Shirts in a colour he should have not choosen in the name of god. But it inspired me - what else is more fluorscentastic as Miami?

With the first concept I thought that a Miami Vice theme could be a cool idea, but I scrapped that soon as I wanted to conserve some "Not impossible to see this" feeling. Miami Vice would never appear on a racecar, but why not Miami itself? So this Mustang become a billboard for the tourism advertisement of the city. With the current Corona panic it's propably not too far away that we will see more ads for that purpose.

Most of the decals are selfmade, except some equipment sponsors, palmtrees (look at the palmtree at the mirror, this is a masterpiece of design integration! :D), the Marriot decal and the GTP numberboard. This livery contains much gradient work, but a quick calculation resulted, that 58,2% of it remains the required fluorescent basecolour. Livery is Sport Mode compatible, not neccessary for this LEC but I personally think that ignoring this can cause tears when looking at it in the daily races.

Daihatsu Copen MAX-D & Nissan 180 SCross

Someone who had won the last round and set up the new theme in the LEC50 stated, that these fluorescent colours do not work on road cars. To prove how wrong he is and to satisfy his secret love for them, I have made this couple of outstanding beautiful crossovers:

Bugatti Veyron GT4 Davidoff

My next addition to the Davidoff liveries is the crazy Veyron GT4 which I needed to buy today out of curiosity. Seems like there is one daily race you really can take use of it, if it is not Monza it tends to be a backmarker. As I was a bit in a hurry to finally drive the Big Boy, I skipped making a new design and used another time the Davidoff livery. While I can imagine that maybe sometime I will give it a update which follows better the lines of the Bugatti, I'm not unhappy how this quick job turned out.

Davidoff BMW Z4 & Davidoff Bentley SF19

Yes, I love this livery. Yes, I'm sorry if I bore you with them. Yes, both cars were gifted from the DWG. The Z4 is my 5th copy and the SF19 Toyota the 2nd one. The SF19 became a Bentley in the progress because I like them more then I should.

Davidoff R18 '11

And the next one. Maybe I'm a bit short of new ideas. While we are talking about this livery, I have the feeling to speak about a few details on them, especially the secondary and equipment sponsors.
When I started a few months ago my copy of GTS, one of the first paint chips I was able to put my hands on was the beautiful British Racing Green.
You will find pretty outdated decals of Michelin, Bibendum and Bilstein. I use them as some kind of retro element as they were seen on the STW BMWs.
Bavaria Petrol may have no one heared which will live outside of my State, but they feed my babies with fuel since im 16.
Falke is a manufactor of socks. Propably the best industrial made. I would never purchase any others then them. And it is a hint towards my roots.
Ocè, abracar and Air Dolomiti were - or are - responsible for some decisions and Euros in my life.
Faber Castell is another OCD brand of me as I would never buy any pencil from another brand. Trust me, you should do the same ;)
Alright, after you know now more about me then my neighbor will ever do, let's get to the Audi, another car from the DWG which I won yesterday:

You won the R18 '11 (Le mans) yet. You can only get it as a gift car? I've got one on my main and one on my second account.

I think there is this unicorn gift with a weathered livery which you only can win. The "normal" R18 will be happily sold to you by your virtual Audi dealer. I think. Or am I wrong?

Abarth 500 Black & White

Nothing spectacular on this, I just scrolled trough the cars catching dust in my garage. As Fiat has made some very beautiful two tone paintjobs on the Abarth I decided to give it a shot with a clean Black & White livery. White roof and three pinstripes with OZ rims. Diffusor and Mirrorcaps are Carbon Fiber. The number plates on it are funny, as I have no idea which version could fit on it. Too wide for Japan and US, too small for EU plates. So it still has the showroom plates.

Davidoff - Conquer all the classes, Part II

3 cars, N400 Tuscan & Mustang and N500 C7 Corvette

At first I started to work on the Tuscan, but with an racecar set up for her, I was in desperate need for another car as I have big trouble keeping her on the road. So we have as requested the Mustang GT as a 2nd N400 car. Made the the Tuscan livery anyway, maybe someone will give that mad Diva his heart, some food and a place where she can life.
Corvette C7 was requested, too. So I was very happy to make it and I like the race car characteristics of it - Curb weight is a bit over 1100kg which is nothing for it's V8. Very predictable with oversteer if you want to shake that backend.
All liveries are Sport Mode compatible and have numberplates similar to the STT (Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy) which is a cool series to see in Germany / Europe.

Leonardo M-346 4C

I needed a break from all the Davidoff liveries  So I expaned the fighter liveries to Group 4 with the 4C I have quiet a few copies lying around. With it's nimble handling but a few horses short of total dominance the Alfa reminds me a bit of the Light Attack / Advanced Trainer jets. A interesting jet in this class is the M-346. The livery is quite unspectacular to transfer the clean designs of the Italian Air Force and Leonardo Demojets.

Davidoff - Conquer all the classes, Part III

N600 Diablo, N700 Camaro, N800 Huayra and N900 Nova

Except of the Camaro we have three cars here which wheels shouldn't be changed. On the Nova I went without any sponsors to see how it looks without them and to keep the classic lines on this Hot Rod intepration. Of course are all liveries fully Sport Mode compatible.

Davidoff - Conquer all the classes, Part IV

Dodge Charger N1000

We did it. You and me survived this. All classes have now a potential entry with my Davidoff original livery and I have to say thanks to you for not getting too bored with them. The Charger was quite fun to work at, as it feels like a cheesburger addicted world class bodybuilder touring car. Once again, it has plates from the STT, the only racing series known to me which could possibly be a home for these cars.

Fiat 500 Securitas / LEC 51 - 24h Lemons

I was completly out of ideas what to do with this competition, but then I was reminded of a little story which could happened (*cough*).
In my days as a Salesman for a big Korean manufactor I may have gotten my hands on one of the first Coupès with a 3.8l V6 and RWD for a few days. So it could have happened that I accidentally missed one or two exits on the Autobahn and somehow ended in the Eifel, suprisingly close to the Nürburgring. Eventually I was caught in a little jam and suddenly was forced to buy a Ringcard. Because the visibility is not soo good in this Coupè I may have refused to back up and was suddenly on the Ring somehow. To get out of this misery I may have even accelerated a bit harder. I can't believe that this story may be true, but who am I to judge...
This leads us to the Fiat. I often watch how these Securitas guys are quiet fast in their compact cars. Which I completly understand, that someone would have a bit fun at work when he gets a paycheck of 500 € a week.
And there we are, two stories come together. I present you the Securitas 500 1.2, after a small bribe checked for confirmity to enter this race.

Honda NSX GT4 Löwenbräu

Was happy to finally get a Honda racecar from the DWG, it just took about 5 months  As I inspected its lines in the LE I spotted that nicely shaped beltline flowing around the car towards the headlights. After trying to cover it, I was reminded of my attempts on the Daytona 1986 Löwenbräu liveries and tried to integrate the complete beltline as a "pinstripe" into the design. As the NSX feels futuristic I tried to modernize it a bit, like the "new" CI of the brewery, secondary sponsor and modern equipment partners. As I'm still waiting for the BBS RS wheels, I went with that fantastic looking Work wheels. Car is running in the GT4 European Series, base colour is Y3 big flakes.

Race against COVID-19 GT-R

Ladies and gentleman, friends and members of this board.

As we all know, it's a very challenging time. I don't know how you are affected by the current situation, but I hope you are all doing well and avoid doing stupid things. In the last days I was forced to watch unbelieveable idiotic people sitting in the Biergarten or Cafè, there were even plenty of groups walking by in my street drunk, singing and way closer then the recommended 1,5m together.
Please protect you, your family and the people doing now a really hard job and stay at home. I'm not a expert or have the qualifications to fight active COVID-19, so all I can do is washing my hands and avoid as good as it is possible unneccessary social interaction.
And to be honest, there are quiet a few positive things: My house is again in perfect condition, I discovered that my wife is really beautiful and cool, I can spend time cooking tasty things and with my good ol' reliable PS.
As this place is all about virtual cars, I've made a livery which I already raced 400km in some lobbies. Didn't went to crazy with the design, as I wanted to send a tiny message, not the colours or shapes. Text decals are in Nissan fonts:

SLS GT4 Big Bertha

Received the AMG SLS Group 4 a few days ago as my daily workout gift. It was love at first sight. It feels heavy, planted and powerful. And there is this huge, long bonnet always present in your sight. After 2 minutes behind the wheel I nicknamed her Big Bertha.
In the last weeks I have no creativity which sponsors I could choose to design a livery around it, so I wanted to avoid it completly. While playing around with my favourite font site I have found a interesting chalk design, so I wanted to try it on a car. It was quite very easy to apply the "words", as you can squeeze and pull this dirty font as you want, but still keeping or even improving the "handwritten" feeling of them.

Hasseröder 406 STW - Lancer & Crown

I have to think often about the good old STW days. That fantastic Peugeot piloted by Aiello and van Ommen. Was suprised how well this livery transfers to newer cars. Got some feedback that the standard GTS yellow on the Crown was too green, so I fixed that with the @Cytoria 15 / 100 / 100 yellow I now highly recommend. Cause of laziness I didn't shooted the Toyota again. Sorry :scared: The link is updated.
Both liveries are Sport Mode compatible.

Lexus RC-F GTPlanet - LEC Group 3 Edition

Ofcourse you will immediately recognize the paint scheme if you were brave enough to scroll through my thread. While keeping the basic design, I switched out the sponsors for some GTPlanet stuff. While I could have made a new design, I decided to give this forum back what it gave to me. And that was for example the original Davidhoff livery I have already copied a "few" times. Happy Birthday LEC!

S-FR Racing Concept "Bonsai Pocket Rocket"

Really enjoyed the Big Bertha SLS and had another round of fun with my favourite fonts site. My victim this time is the Toyota S-FR Racing Concept, a really interesting car for N Classes. Named the "Bonsai Pocket Rocket" I added two more words to the livery which represent my whole knowledge of the Japanese language. The starting number plate base is custom made and it was way more easy to age it as I expected. Recycled the 63 from Big Bertha and the chalk lines I created for it.

Löwenbräu Drift Toyobaru

Mad a mistake. Just realised, I applied a Toyota Logo on the front... so let's say it was my plan to bring the twins together in one car :D Tried to modify the original Löwenbräu livery scheme on a drift car which I have not yet even made one. So, here it is: My first real attempt on this theme. Had the idea to give the gold part of the livery a lightning design, again the Lion and the text is masked.
To be honest: Even as a father of this design I'm not too sure about it.

Corvette C7 GT4 - Santa Fe

This livery was requested by @AMPMROCKETFANN based on the classic warbone design of the Santa Fe Railway. Decided to go with two designs, as maybe someone could have fun with the pure locomotive design. On the racecar I have choosen General Electric as additionally sponsor and added the current BNSF logo, too. Tried to make the designs as good as possible Sport Mode compatible.

BMW M3 GT "die Bayerische/ TSV 1860 München"

Nothing really complicated on this livery, just a fan car of my favourite soccer club. I really like the design of the away shirts of TSV 1860, so I had some inspiration. On the car side I have to confess that BMW had never a cooperation with them. Instead Aston Martin decided it will be a great idea to sponsor a 2nd leauge workers club a few years ago... Todays automotive partner of them is Nissan. So maybe you will see some more cars connected with them soon. (COVID-19 Spring. I really miss real sports!).

Aston Martin DBR9 Emil Frey

It took some time for me becoming a GT3 / GT4 fan. Before that, I was quite downturned by this whole BoP thing, maybe cause I feeled the thrill in good old DTM/STW times, when technical different cars were.... really different. But we have now modern times, even a automotive veteran like me is seeing the wind of change. BoP is maybe boring sometimes, but it helps to keep the budget down to make racing still a affordable marketing and product showcase for the manufactors.

As it took till 2018 for me to realize this, I have missed a ton in these classes. In a lobby race someone commented my Emil Frey Jaguar and said he likes the Emil Frey Aston Martin, too. Emil.... - Aston.... :dunce: What? Yupp said Mr. Google, in 2013 Emil Frey used a GT3 Vantage. They opted for this car in the 24h of Spa, as their Jag was simply not ready for the race. They weren't too lucky as the car crashed hard in the qualifying and was not able to start the race.

I transfered the livery from the Vantage V12 GT3 to the DBR9. Three things are missing on this car: One blue stripe cause the beltline has a different shape and a sponsor I could not identify cause there are simply not enough photos. And finally I repositioned the Blancpain board from the roof to the hood to make it 100% Sport Mode compatible.

Love these Emil Frey cars, as they have with their lack of sponsors a really simply beauty and could be easily replicated. :D Feels good to get slowly a collection of them. I have to check the V12 GT3 another person in the GT world has already made, if I think I can do it better I will consider doing this livery on the "correct" car, too.

Hyundai 2025 VGT Group 1 - PS6 LEC 52

"Celebrating" with this one my 10th entry in the Livery Editor Competition. Time flies!

I wanted to go a bit futuristic with my entry to the Playstation themed Livery Editor Competition Nr. 52. Maybe I have bend the rules a bit, but the rules said any Playstation decal. So I made a Playstation 6 car

I produced a logo and two slogans at my favourite font site. AI for the Players based on the slogan This is for the players and Implant Now to give a hint that the PS6 may not work as you think. Also added to the already known four buttons a fifth heart shaped one. Masked it to make a circuit board livery with a colour change paintchip as a base.

Really a pitty that I am not able to present you this one moving, as the circuit board details look really great live. :(

I also developed a short background story for the LEC:

2026.

Donald Trump jr. is the President of the United States, we are annoying our children about our toilet paper stories in the COVID-19 crisis and Sony presented the next generation of the PS. As the PS5 was a failure cause of electrocutting guinea pigs within 3,5 meters, Sony decided to go to the next level. The PS6 doesn't need a TV cause it will be implanted directly into the Hippo Campus and runs up to 6,5 hours without being recharged with a standard 380 Volt cable you can easily apply to your nose or similar parts of the human body.

As some stupid people seemed to be careful with this 100% safe device and no one understood what the heart button does, Sony was forced to start a huge marketing campaign. The 2025 LeMans winning Hyundai VGT was choosen to be the ideal billboard and runs again in the 2026 WEC season unchanged with the goal to repeat it's success.

Lamborghini Huaracan GT4 - Emil Frey

Thanks to the livery editor I guess have found my "favourite" racing team. This time I left the replica / based on zone and went to the inspired by category. As I realised I have only GT3 cars from Emil Frey, I went down to the GT4 cars. As a Lambo was already sitting around in my garage, it was a easy choice what will be my victim for this job.

I took the basic design from the GT3 EF Lambo and went freestyle on the decals. One of my prefered watch brands had a good suiting logo and as I wanted to see how the livery looks with a main sponsor in a traditional place I branded the car with Ingersoll.

VW GTI VGT GT3 - TSV1860

The 2nd livery of TSV 1860 München. This time based on the current home shirt. A few years ago VW was a main sponsor of them, today there is with MAHAG (local VAG dealership) and MAN Trucks still two companies of Volkswagen involved in sponsoring.
The GT3 VGT is quite a interesting car - I think it's virtually equipped with a DCT and driving around in this class without a roof is a new way to experience BoP races.
