Welcome to Rinsky's Final Tour Weekly Endurance Series
Rinsky's 2022 Season

Series Created by Rinsky

Host Introduction

Hello I'm Cold Warrior (PSN TheColdWarriors) the current main host of this series. I'm a long time Gran Turismo Player. I still own and play all the previous full game Gran Turismo's expect PSP. I love car racing of all kinds. I'll race just about everything. From a stock 1968 Fiat 500 to VGTs. I have great interest and respect of racing of yesterday. I like experiencing racing I was never able.

This league was originally started by Rinsky in April 2018. Who created, ran, and hosted most of races for our 2018 and 2019 seasons. After our first race of 2020 season Rinsky saw life changes that made him unable to host or attend much of the season. Rinsky handed over full control to me for the 2021 season.

Series Introduction

The 2022 season will be the last for this league. Traditionally we have been a once a month year long series. Usually hosted on the first Saturday of the month. Due to the early release date of Gran Turismo 7. This series will be an 8 race weekly series for our final season.

Most of our races are 90 minute endurance races but, once or twice season will run a 2 to 2.5 hours race. Kind of like a crown jewel event. Our 2018 and 2019 were Gr.4 only. In 2020 we started alternating between Gr.3 and Gr4. Due to the limited amount of practice for the 2022 season. The Gr.3 and Gr.4 classes will run half and half this season. Gr.4 will run the first four races and the Gr.3 will run the last four races.

We are a pretty leisurely series but, we like our psychics realistic. So heavy mechanical damage is on for all races. Even the really hard ones. We welcome clean drivers of any skill who aren't afraid of a challenge.

Five of our 8 races are revisits to some of our most popular races. To give 2022 some originality. I throw in 2 new ideas. And then we have the brutal wet race at Spa-Francorchamps. It will be Valentine / Presidents weekend to remember.

To make sure I understand we can pick different manufacturers for gr3 and gr4 but can’t change once we start the season without the points penalty?

Yes. There also car model limit of 2. Though you miss to 2 races. If you haven't missed a race yet. A car change it will use up one of those races. I applied this my Supercar series too. It's to prevent people from changing their to suit each track.

The friend request has been sent. The rest is up to you.

Our first race of season 4 is Saturday January 2nd early Sunday if your European.

The race will be at Tokyo Expressway Central Outer Loop in the 18:00 Twilight Setting. Either a timed 90 mins race or lap race close to that duration. I need to retest tire wear and fuel so that is TBA.

Lobby Opens 6:30pm. Qualifying / Race 7:20pm. All times Eastern Standard Time. Pacific and Central Europe times in form.

i accepted it, that is cool all those times are good for my european time for me. so i will be ready for when the season begins. many thanks :)

I'm in.
GR3 - Corvette or RSR
GR4 - Ugh not a clue yet
Okay but, l not allowing you to claim 2 for one class. So Gr.3 will be a ? until you officially decide one. It's would not fair others to allow you to hold both with the 2 model limit. Also car selection first come first service. If someone picks last Porsche before you decide they get it.

This is a stock N class series with no class restriction. SS tires only.

Special Regulations

1. Must be a N class car.
2. Must be a production car.
3. Must have a real life model.
4. Must be street legal in least one major country at time of sale.
5. No Power or Weight Tuning Allowed
Note: Production Tuners allowed if street legal.

I recommend screech N500 and above.

After doing some minor testing. I have decided to extend from a 90 Minutes to 2 hours the Special La Sarthe No Chicane Gr.3 / Gr.4 mixed class race.

Apparently while the Gr.3 Class cars accelerate and corner better than Gr.4. The latter of which is reduced by low downforce setups for the race. The Gr.3 and Gr.4 Classes are close to Top Speed wise with BOP. With some of the faster Gr.4 cars have higher top out speeds than some of the slower Gr.3 cars. This should make straight away battles between classes interesting.

With this discovery lap times are as far apart as initially thought. Since part the entire point of this event is to see and race with another class around on track. I've decided to extend the race 2 hours to allow for more lapping opportunities between classes.

If this 2 class race does well. I might add another mixed class race later in the season.

I will do tire, fuel, and race length testing our next season. After my next race for my other series this Saturday.

I’ll give it a go

John_YDG / John_YDG

Probably go Porsche for GR3 and don’t know yet for GR4 but I will update it.
You can only hold a car if you confirm. There is a limit of 2 per car model and only one Gr.3 Porsche. You do wish to confirm your car?

I'm now having doubts about Gr.3 choice. Since I'm no longer sure. I removed it as my comfirmed choice. So there's now 2 McLaren F1's available again.

based on this not sure if a Porsche is still available - if it is can I switch? If not I’ll stick with the Toyota

I'll give John_YDG some time to give a response. There a lot of long straightaways on the Gr.3 Schedule. So the Supra the may be a better choice for the Gr.3 season.

I fairly bad, but want to play. Don't mind not wanting me or dropping if you get enough good drivers.

Norrin Radd /Norrin-Radd_SS01 Well that's my main account, but have a US one if needed, would need to get some cash to buy the cars but that's easy enough.
As I like to be boring Mustangs all the way.

We're not picky on talent. As long as you're not interrupting races.

Account doesn't matter as you can access your cars. The Mustang isn't a bad choice for Gr.3. There's a lot straights on the schedule.

The Gr.4 class on the other has a lot technical tracks on the schedule this year. Are you sure of your choice?

Though if you're not US then are you okay with the start times? From Central Europe and eastwards. We don't even open until after midnight.

Saturdays Night

Practice Start
Sat 6:30 pm Eastern Standard
Sat 3:30 pm Pacific Standard
Sun 12:30 am Central Europe Standard

Qualifying / Race Start
Sat 7:20 pm EST
Sat 4:20 pm PST
Sun 1:20 am CET

These lobby times are for all race unless specified otherwise.

All times are standard for the US Eastern Time Zone.

Oh, also are either of those names your PSN ID. We usually host with a friends only lobbies unless I'm experiencing internet or power issues.

So I either need your PSN ID to send a friend request or you'll need to send one to me TheColdWarriors.

Times are fine for me, starts 11:30 till what 2:30 ish , better than during the day as I don't get disturbed. I really get on well with the Mustang, I know some cars are better suited but I just do better in this. Not like I'm looking to win, just have fun and maybe learn a thing or two.

Sent friends request, didn't you used to get an option to attach a message? Or did I just miss that...forget it you agreed

Okay and thank you. Most people make me send the friend request.

Important!

Due to the current health issues in my family. The changeover to a new form and some lessons from the past. Along with other minor reasons.

I have decided to move the start of 4th season this series to the January 16th. I also decided to reschedule the April and July races to non holiday weekends.

This will also give everyone more time to select their rides. If you have a ride by your first race of with that class. The ride you enter will become official. The 2 car model limit will still apply even on race day.

I have stretched out the rest season and rescheduled races of my other series the Supercar World Speed Contest. A short cut link to the series can be found in the main form of series. And a link to this series can be found on other main form.

The rescheduled races allow for easier and more flexible schedule for both series. I do intend to keep this series on the our traditional 1st Saturday Schedule as much as possible.

Thank you and see you all January 16th. Enjoy holidays and stay away from sick people.
