This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
M760Li, if I recall. Drove one a couple of Septembers back, which is probably why it was in my head.Minor quibble, the N74 was used in the 7 series. BMW no longer offer a V12 in their line up since the the G11/12 7-ers were phased out, making it somewhat Rolls-Royce exclusive now.
Highest density of Rolls-Royces I've seen recently, in general, is at Silverstone.. With the Cullinan being the most popular...i'm always amazed at how many i see around
Now that you've pointed it out, it almost looks like if you told AI to draw an updated Cullinan. The more I look at it, the less I like it.The front end just isn't working for me. There isn't much harmony between the loud supercar-style vents on the bottom and the more traditional Rolls grille and headlights on top, though I suppose a darker color might hide the disconnect much better.
If he's brave enough to trample over the BMW staple that is the kidney grill, then maybe he can do something interesting with RR. Anything would be better than their current copied Mansory homework direction.I wonder how Series III will be now that Domagoj Dukec is director of design at Rolls-Royce...
I do think RR can do something more interesting in design. Been quite bland looking over the years, feel like they can do more to make it look more expensive and give it more of a wow factor. However, I think with this designer, you might get something like Mansory on drugs instead. Anyway, best of luck to him.If he's brave enough to trample over the BMW staple that is the kidney grill, then maybe he can do something interesting with RR.
