Already only 2 days remaining until next race at the Fuji Short Track. Personally I'm not fan of using this layout with high downforce cars. While yes it does speed up the track a little. Because removing the chicane takes out one of the best passing zones on the track. But wasn't my pick. So it is what it is. As mentioned previously. A major storm with heavy wet conditions are expected after about the halfway through the race. Aways hope to see you Saturday.

Yeah, why don't we get a weather forecast for every race? Real life racers get weather forecasts and I thought you liked realism.

Can't forecast what I don't know. The weather for Spa-Francorchamps was not planned. Most of the time I just setup races with all weather slots being random. Unless I really want part of or all of a race wet. Though even with me trying to force the games hand. How the weather systems act are still pretty unpredictable. I have had entire weather systems miss the track before. Also the portions of the races I don't have setup. Are usually still random. So the game itself could make the beginning of Fuji wet as well.

Hey guys just over a day until our race at the Fuji Short Track. I realized I never mentioned yet that we are off next week for Mother's Day weekend. Which according to my Canada and Mexico celebrate it along with the US. We currently no Mexico flags but, we do have Canadians to confirm it. After the break we return to Watkins Glen to run the short track. And then after that will be another 1 week break for Memorial Day weekend in the US. And for the 3 big races that take place that weekend.

I may miss qualifying tonight, what time do you reckon the race will start?
Well I always intend start at 8:45 pm Eastern. Though I do consider the time of day reset and grid setup part of the race procedure.

But unfortunately then we a last minute new comer. So I have waste time helping them prepare. And then I at least try to give them a few laps. So they have a least some understanding of how their car drives and are not danger to the rest of field.

If I am going to show up late you can be rest assured that I won't need extra help or practice laps.

Drivers Scoring

After flaws discovered with the Catch-up system last season. I'm going back to the old miss forgiveness policy method. Only your best of 13 (75%) race scores out of the 17 scheduled races will be scored for the drivers championship. After the 13 race have been started and scored by an individual driver. The driver will have to best previous scores to improve their standing in the drivers championship. And will only receive the amount of points they bet the previous score by. Drivers however can still earn full points for the manufacturers championship.

Do to the growing field size of the league. I unfortunately need a way prioritize driver's for that day when there's 17 or more driver's for a max limit of 16 spots.

It is likely this could become problem for our Le Mans races that straddle the real life event. While hosting races near their real life counterparts does not always guarantee the extra business. Le Mans is the Indy 500 of sportscar endurance racing. I can confirm our Le Mans race last year did get a few extra entries. So it seems wise to be prepared.

Driver's Class Priority Rule: Driver's are broken up into 5 classes or types. Drivers will be given prior by class 1st. And then by Driver's Points Standings. In priority order Host, Full-time, Part-time, One-off, and New. Fastone371 has special priority status within the classes. Do to him being the only one still around from me hosting on GT Sport.

Host: Sorry causes a lot of problems if the Host don't show up.

Full-time: Driver has are anyone who have not missed more than 75% or 4 races in the current season. The Host takes priority over this class. Priority in class is by Driver's Points unless specified otherwise.

Part-time: Driver has started at least 2 races but, has missed more than 4 races in the current season. The Host and Full-time Drivers take priority over this class. Priority in class is by Driver's Points unless specified otherwise.

One-off: Driver has started only 1 race in the current season. The Host, Full-time, and Part-time Drivers take priority over this class. Priority in class is by Driver's Points unless specified otherwise.

New: Driver has recently expressed interest in the league but, has not started a race yet. The Host, Full-time, Part-time, and One-off Drivers take priority over this class. Since these drivers are not yet scored. The old first come first serve rule will decide priority of the new drivers.

Drivers can check their class in the league GT Planet forum Post #2.

With all Corvette generations now represented. I already have an idea for the Fall League. Collect Corvettes make sure one of each is stock. Or at least make sure that everything is removable. And yes the race cars too including the Stingray Concept Racer. So keep an eye for it the Legends Dealer.

I hope it's not similar to the league we tried last fall, that one kind of stunk it up. The problem with trying to limit cars by PP instead of running a GR group and BOP is that there is always a car with an advantage that someone finds and there's a penalty for changing cars. One make races work well.

I'm probably going to do a one make league for Corvette. If there's different cars there almost always a best car even with BOP. Plus others enjoy historic car league. So I can't promise I won't use a PP limit in future.

Race night at the Watkins Glen Short Track. And then after this unfortunately is another week off for US Memorial Day Weekend. After that is our race the new safer Nurburgring GP course. Then the 2 Le Mans races. Anyways this race is last stop in the Americas for this season. It is also the last race I'm running IMSA Castrol livery on the Jaguar. I already plan the '88 and '90 race winning liveries for the Le Mans races. I might run the 2 tone purple living again for the Nurburgring. Anyways see you soon.

Hey after looking at the race settings. Our race next week at Nurburgring GP is setup to be a wet dry race. Nothing particularly heavy. It's just going be scattered showers. You know those annoying rain don't rain days but, it's all race weekend.

Reminder next race this weekend at the Nurburgring GP. Scattered showers are expected the entire race weekend. Be aware pit entrance is very slippery when wet. I learned this the hard. Not the best place to be stubborn about changing to wets. Also those who didn't make Le Mans No Chicane testing last. I posted on the group chat a downforce and transmission suggested based tune for all 5 cars. They should still be there. The rest of the car up to you. See you guys at the Nurburgring in a few days.

Our next race is tomorrow night or evening or afternoon. Whatever is says in your the preset texts. At the new 41 years old Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit. This is race 15 of 17. Short race by distance. Nurburgring GP was the 3rd slowest track by average speed in testing. Only beating out Tsukuba and Laguna Sega. Scattered showers are expected for all race activities. You probably won't need full wets but, make sure to Intermediates are available. See you guys tomorrow.

Only around 12 hours remaining until lobby opens for our at Nurburgring GP. Now I mentioned in my previous post yesterday. That the Grand Prix circuit is 41 years old. The track's opening ceremony was held May 12th, 1984. So it may be newer than remaining operating portions of the old circuit but, unless you're a tree or a Greenland Shark. It's hard to call something 41 years old new. It's older than by me buy like 6 years and 2.5 months. Anyways see you this afternoon, evening, night, and or I guess midnight for the British guy.

Hey guys I am running late tonight. I'm definitely not going to make the 7pm lobby opening. Depending on how late I open. I may have to cancel qualifying. The field will be set by driver's points if this is the case.

Hey guys logging on now. I need to check a on few things before I open. Try to be open by 7:45pm Eastern. I've already decided to cancel qualifying. Field will be set by Driver's Points this week. Sorry for the delay.
