So instant rubbing salt into the wounds... yikes!

But there's a helmet, so perfectly safe!

Um... brakes? Did they just put some extra-special wheels on that and not bother with rotors? Or the rear caliper even? Not gonna ride that!

Apologies for the potato quality.

I was going through some saved picture data from an old phone and came across this. It's a picture of a friends bike in my driveway the first day he got running after a 40 odd year labour of love. He brought it round to show me as I'd been helping him along the way by hand-making some of the parts. The stainless steel running boards are one of the parts I made and about the only bit that's visible.

And of course, it rained on his first outing on it!

I love the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. In India they've just released it with two new colors, Black Ray and Barcelona Blue. I love the seventies-style graphics, but even better, I love the blacked out cast wheels.

I love a shovelhead. This one's a bit odd with the Brit bike frame and early Ceriani forks.

An early motor punched out to 82" with bigger jugs and slugs would make it a blast to ride.

Not a fan of this style of build but it's a shovel and man are those pipes are absolutely fantastic. Actually came across this a while back and the pipes have just stuck around in my head. A Morris mag is also cool.

I think they'd look a real treat on a Frisco chop, maybe gapped just a little to allow for tilted, overlapping fishtails. Run dual magnetos servicing dual plugs and a big Lectron to fuel it.

Really cool heads on this shovel. It's a tried and true 93" stroker but everything up top sets it off. Two front heads and exhaust ports pointed to the primary side--lots of work.
