sharkport: good or bad?

I heard that sharkport sucks.....it messes up your PS2 and its very complicated....is this true?

<shrug> I haven't had any problems with my sharkport.... I use it at least once a week to back up my saves to my PC.

(my girlfried doesn't read the screen when it says "don't turn off the PS2 while saving).

I've had to use the backup too many times to count.

I haven't had problems with the sharkport, but I've had several members PM me with problems over the past few months mostly due to the Diablo Save game (Which thankfully is now accessible with a normal gameshark)
The sharkport is nice to have to backup savegames on your PC hard drive, and also has another nice feature of transferring Gameshark codes quickly. (Instead of typing them in with a control pad )

Well I don't have one but I really want it. I ordered from bestbuy.com but there was a problem now I have to reorder. Should I reorder?? Or is it not worth it.
