What is it?: The Brahma Steves are part of a long line of steel toed sneakers, which is an idea that is so novel that there is no way that it wouldn't work.
What did it cost you?: $25, plus tax.
How long have you owned it?: About 3 weeks.
Pros

- Quite warm.
- They are a sneaker called "Steves" that are steel toed.
- More resistant to staining than my former Brahma Blades were.
- Slip and oil resistant.
- Flat top great for soccer.
- They look to be made of a more resistant rubber/leather mix than the Blades were.
- The sole of the shoe looks more durable than any sneaker I've ever used.
- A great conversation piece.
- A great fit, with a very good lining inside.
- Good shoe laces.
- They are cheap.
- A great looking design.
- They are absurdly easy to run and move silently in, all things considering.
- They weigh more than the Blades did, coming in at around 4 pounds, 3 ounces to the Blades 3 pounds, 9 ounces.
- They are harder to clean than the Blades were.
- They do get hot inside.
- Not a lot of toe room to stretch your feet.
- They can make a lot of noise if you get tired.
Overall rating: 9.75/10.
Conclusion: What I hope to be another year of totally awesome, indestructible foot protection that is also practical enough to be worn every day. These so far have worn a lot better than the Blades, and have become pliable far quicker as well. I hope this will not lead to them being worn out faster, though, as the leather on the Blades tore where the shoe wrapped around the steel.
