I'm sure you're all well aware that Assetto Corsa has several boatloads of content floating around the internet. For the more OCD-inclined of us, we take a lot of time polishing our copies of Content Manager to look as spiffy as possible. This of course involves taking the time to organize the heaps of content into groups a-la GRiD or Project CARS. Since the game doesn't use these filters by default, many people are stuck having to decide where the heck to put some cars they come across. That's where this thread comes in. I'd like to see what people have done to organize their content, what controversial groupings people have made, what ways they use tags etc.

For example, here's my LMP2 group. To post stuff in this thread, just screengrab what you have and post it here.

I'm hoping people can use this thread to ask questions about where to put certain cars, give inspiration for making new groupings other may not have tried before and so on. You don't just have to post pictures and there can be open discussion.

I think the only rule for this thread is to please don't ask for mods, we have an entire thread dedicated to that already and I'd hate for this conversation to devolve into another wishlist thread.

I might be a complete dumbass but how do you group your cars together like that??

Forgive the crudeness but here's a quick tutorial:

Here on Content Manager within your Content > Cars menu is where you find your tags

By deleting/renaming tags, you can group cars together much easier in order to make groups of specific cars. What these groups represent is up to you, you can sort by JDM, Muscle, Race etc. or you can use it like I do and create car classes a-la Project CARS 2. Cars can have an unlimited number of tags.

Once you give a series of cars in your content folder a specific tag, go to your Drive > Select Car > Tags menu to view the tags you are currently using. Select a tag to view what cars have been grouped together using said tag.

For example, here is my "GT1/90" tag:

If you have the time, I recommend deleting all the tags in the game and only keeping the tags that let you class each car by racing series, this allows you to quickly access any racing series in the Drive menu whenever you want. Unfortunately manually deleting all the tags on each car takes a while.

Basically the whole point of this thread is I wanted to see how other people have been using their tags and what groups I could possibly be missing or could have put together better.

Awesome thanks mate. I just couldn't figure it out and was getting tired of clicking things in the hope that it was hidden away somewhere lol. Using tags makes plenty of sense though as it's a quick way of doing things.
I've actually just been grouping cars by making presets so I just load up a saved preset but it doesn't show the other cars like your way does.
I'll be sure to post a screen shot in here if I find another way to sort cars and tracks out.
