Simple and free photo editing software, which one?

Alot of people are using simple and free downloadable photo editing software,

Now, which one is the best to use? I just need something to sharpen my photos and to do some editing, not Photoshopping.

Isn't Gimp for Linux only?

The Gimp does not have an exe installer last time I remember, while Picasa is another good piece of free photo editing software. But look out on PC magazines, because most times there give away great paid photo editing software on there CDs or DVDs for low prices.

Installed it on here 2 weeks ago. It fully works. 👍 There's just a few parts to it to download, depending on what you want to use it for - it's quite self-explanitary.
