Yeah I tagged Raw at the beginning of the reverse Lago race going up into turn 1. I was deep inside and you were in front of me to the outside coming in. I hit your rear right bumper caused you to spin. So I waited up.

Another race near the beginning we were all going into a hard braking left hander. I was tagged really hard from behind which caused me to hit someone. That was unfortunate but not my fault...but it still sucks to be rammed.

I was in front of USER in the Ferrari and we were having a nice close race. Both of us were pretty sketchy in that car ;) I got a terrible run out of a corner in front of him in a turn and he spun presumably trying to avoid my slow ass car.

But I do remember some moments where we had some really tight multi car battles...until one of us spun out of contention...usually me btw. GTS is definitely not PCars. For some reason I have become slower at GT and faster at PCars. I'll figure it out eventually ;)

So I saved the replays. What do I need to do to complete my "replay" guy tasks?

I may grab some pics in the next couple of days as well. There was some pretty good and close racing last night.

That was me that got punted in the second race in the Porsche, not a lot of things more frustrating than getting hit that hard and going from 1st to last in one corner.

@IceWarden I just want to publicly say to both of you guys I'm sorry. When braking my right rear tire dropped into the grass causing me to lose grip
not being able to stop in a timely manner. I should've waited though, but in all honesty I did not see anyone go off track. I guess it was the heat of the battle still not a excuse

You did the right thing by pulling off,and I saw you did it immediately.That was the SNAIL thing to do and was appreciated!Keep up the good work.Enjoyed racing you,sorry about tagging your bumper(like 3 times) I was trying to predict your braking points without much luck!LOL.

Yeah...part of my evil plan...totally different brake points every lap to confuse my enemy ;)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
 
Well now... It appears that I will be wagging my tail with you fellers tonight! Could one of you fine gents direct me to the color/number thread? I still haven't settled on a car color yet.

There were a few changes in this week's D2 drivers' list. Welcome to new SNAIL members. There are also vintage ones and I see we got a few Aliens dropping in from D1 to keep us honest. I will update the first page roles and responsibilities, as we also lost one or two old faithfuls.

During the race tonight we will use this thread to update room changes if required. So, please have a phone or laptop nearby where you can refresh your view regularly in case we have disconnects or room crashes or any network problems where we can talk through text chat.

Also, we can have as much party chats as we like, but official communication for the room will happen through text chat, so please pay attention to that. We want the proceedings to flow well. You East Coasters want to be in bed before midnight.

When you enter the room, please NO HOT LAPPING. Get in your car and go to turn 4. The host and I will stay in the pits until we call the start of Qually.

In simple terms: Qually = When message says "Qually Starts" complete your out lap and do one hot lap and stop in turn 1. Pay attention to your final qually spot.

The host will go back to the pits and kick unwanted drivers out - this may change you final grid position if they slipped in and participated in the qually - so, please pay attention.

When the host comes back on track he will drive on track until his position shows up where he is supposed to be on the Grid. It may take him to turn 3 or 4 before he will pop up to his actual grid position. If he doesn't get into his correct position we will reset the track and do a manual lineup GT6 style by going onto the track, line up in the correct order and start the race.

Be there early and let's have some fun

Please post here if you think you will be racing tonight so that we can see how many we can expect.

I'm kinda nervous about being host having never hosted a GTS room before. Maybe a secondary host can step up until I have a chance to familiarize myself with how it goes?

I will continue to save the replays though.
 
I'm sorry guys I will not be racing tonight I a Karting event tonight at 7:30 but if I get home earlier than expected I sure would like to drop in and watch you guys race
 
Tried to create a room, it says loading then it drops me out to lobby again. No idea why...all settings are good. So apparently no hosting for me.

Spying on D2..... I get this same problem sometimes. Restarting the PS4 solves the problem.
 
Hi guys. I'm in D2 this season. I'm relearning GT physics over PCars physics but I should be up to speed soon. The weirdest thing is low speed tire grip. I have no idea when I have it or not until it's too late and I spin or I'm too slow and someone flies by.
