Sorry, Gentlemen, I will not be able to be at the races tonight. Unexpected requirement came up. RacingChamp would you consider Hosting this month - I’ll be your Backup.

My sincere apologies

Host: please double-check the settings. There was a glitch in the matrix.

I'll do texting again this month. I believe @CourageRising is going to handle scoring. I also did data entry last month and would like to let someone else try that for the month of May and back them up.

Yes, they are distinct. When I did data last month I noticed some division specialists did data each week and at least one seemed to do the data at the end of the season, so it doesn't seem to be as time sensitive as the scores for the night.

I will be at the Races tonight.
Hope we have a good turnout.
How many are planning to be there?

Hello;

Not sure that I'm posting in the right place here.
Thanks for the invite to join in G4 race.
Tried in vain to get in lobby, kept looking for it, couldn't find , then came back to threads and noticed room ID posted.
So am I correct that one needs to look up room in lobby via ID number.
Alas when I tried ID lookup, got error message that NAT3 does not allow it.
So I'm trying to change my connection status to NAT2, so far no luck.
May have to swap out my router, UPnp does not seem to make a difference.
Have gone through the port forwarding BS, still no joy.
Any geeks out there?

NAT 3 will only allow you to join a fixed host room IIRC. SNAIL does not run fixed host rooms because if the host has an issue and gets dropped for any reason, the whole room closes. The only time I have ever seen NAT 3 for myself was when I changed internet providers. I had to go into my route settings and make a couple of changes and was able to get NAT 2 and have been there ever since. Sadly, I don't remember the exact steps or changes that I made. They are probably specific to your router and internet provider anyway.

Thanks mate, will work at it and hopefully resolve issue in time for next race.

Welcome to Snail Gr4.:gtpflag: I deal with non-members in Sunday's lobbies and I noticed your name and was looking for you. Too bad about your difficulties getting in. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the spec league thread is monitored on race night by a BOD member(s) and can help with access to lobby issues. So if that happens again, maybe post your issue and see what happens.

There are a couple of ways to find Snail lobbies. The only method I use is to search lobbies for "friends". So send out some friend requests, especially @racingchamp30 and @TEX36 as they are Sunday's hosts. But others in all divisions, myself included, open lobbies for informal practice. So the more you know, the more lobbies you'll find. If you know what the combos are for the week you can search lobbies by track, and hopefully you'll find a host you recognize. I only us an ID number if I'm hosting Thursday's scheduled practice and post it in the main thread. Too much typing and remembering. In case you don't know, there is scheduled practice on Thursday for the upcoming combos. 3 short races at each combo. Open to anyone. Visitors encouraged. Lately, attendance was good enough to warrant a D3/D4 lobby. Much more relaxing, that's not right, way less stressful.

Hope this helps, and if you have any problems at all...Do Not Contact Me. I can't help at all.:lol:. I'm a techno-pauper, I can only use technology if it works. My "friend" search works for me...so that's pretty much it from me. See you on track soon.:cheers:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
“Since @CANOWORMS1 wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.”

I encourage all to come out to tonight's practice. I kind of picked the track conditions as it reminds me of a misty Vancouver, BC day. @BC_Bud and @ActAccording2 this is a good time to check out combos when it doesn't count and get replays of good lap times.

Have a commitment this Sunday night 6/6. So will not be able to race that night.
