Welcome to SNAIL's Super Formula Series. The races will be on Wednesday Nights starting at 8:30 PM EST.

There will be two races a night for a six week season. There will be 12 races total. A drivers best 9 races will be their total for the points

On race night there are two rounds, Race 1 is the Strategy Round, Race 2 is the SNAIL Round

Strategy Round Regulations:
Each race drivers MUST use at least two compounds. All 4 Racing Compounds will be available and it is up to you to decide which is best. (Racing SuperSoft, Soft, Medium, Hard) If you do not use at least two different compounds there is a 50% point penalty.

SNAIL Round:
The starting grid for Race A will be decided by the finishing order of the Strategy Round Race. The race will be a short sprint with no fuel or tire wear. For Race B, the starting order is the reverse of the finishing order of Race A. The top 50% of the finishing order from Race A will race on Softs, the bottom 50% will be on SuperSofts. EXAMPLE: If there are 8 cars in the race, the drivers who finish 1-4 will use Softs for the 2nd race and drivers who finish 5-8 will use SuperSofts.

Wednesday Night Schedule:

8:30 - 8:45 PM EST Qualifying for Race 1
8:45 - 9:15 PM EST Race 1
9:15 - 9:35 PM EST Race 2A
9:40 - 10:00 PM EST Race 2B

Qualifying Procedure:

When the official room opens at 8:30, qualifying automatically begins. Qualifying is as many laps as you can get in or as little as you want. You can start on either tire you desire. You can choose not to qualify or start in the back up to you. The race will begin at exactly 8:45 PM EST no matter where a driver is at on the track. Make sure to stay on track so your time stays official. If you leave the track then your time is canceled and you start in the back.

Race 2: Fuji International Speedway: 33 laps

**All tomorrow night the endurance league will be running a race at blue moon infield. First race though is Fuji and the corvette. But after is the super formula.

If you want to join please jump to the endurance thread. @THRASH could use a little extra data.

**this is a one off race. ****

I was just trying to keep the cars as close as possible for a Spec style but after a season if everyone is okay with tuning we will cross that bridge when we get there

I will try to make it from time to time. FIA events are also run on Wednesdays so it might be hard to squeeze in both for me

Awesome! Love to see the interest. If you can’t make both races it’s fine you can do 1 or the other.
