Sony Slash prices for PS2 and PSOne in the US.

Sony announced just before E3 Expo, that they will reduce the prices of their PS2 and the PsOne on May 13, Monday. The PS2 will be priced at $199 same as the Nintendo's Game Cube and $100 less then the X-Box. And the original PS will be slashed from $99 to $49. Sony said that this is the right time to cut prices (since they sold 10 million PS2's around the USA, duh!).

I hope maybe the rumor I read at PSM, that the PS3 will be out at next year. That's why the prices has been slashed, who knows?! Only Sony knows! :blindfold

PS3 will not be released any time soon. Japan will have it before the U.S. and Japan will bot have the PS3 until 2005-2006. Just a little info I read.
