Another race in the books then...
Things started off pretty well for me in qualifying. 2nd was as best as i could have gotten, although Sheltie still offered quite a fight over that position.
After the race start, i managed to pull a gap to the cars behind although ZePhyR (to the surpise of absolutely noone) did the same thing to me, so i was alone throughout the big majority of the race. However, things got interesting when Zephyr decided to pit on lap 5, going for the two stopper. That was not the best strategy imo and indeed i almost took the lead after his 2nd stop although he just came out half a second or so ahead. He then pulled a gap again and i still had time for a crash, loosing around 7 seconds at the time and really damaging my tyres but fortunately, i was so much ahead of the cars behind i didnt gave away any positions in the process.
That was pretty much my race, looking forward to seeing you all at suzuka!

Hope you all had a good race!

I'll confirm entry if I'm available for Suzuka by the end of this coming week. Quali pace isn't excellent there. But, I'm consistent enough to pick up a decent result outside of the GC.

My race was pretty quiet to be honest. I managed to put in a solid quali lap that started me in 3rd, and really struggled at the start of the 1st lap with cold tyres (especially through the esses the 1st time). This turned out to be to my advantage as it backed 4th (@Spinerkopin I think) into the pack and they ended up fighting for the whole race, as I just pulled out a couple of seconds lead.

Unfortunately for me I couldn't quite stay with the pace of @PTLobo2 and @HoonigaN96 was doing his warp speed towards the horizon thing. I wasn't sure what the strategy was for the race so when 1st pitted and 2nd didn't I thought I would try the 2 stop as well. Don't think it made any difference in the end as 1st and 2nd were just too good. Only excitement was when @PTLobo2 made his mistake which dropped him to around 5 secs of me, but I couldn't make much of a dent from there even on the better tyres.

I shared the race on the playstation at https://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gtsport/user/notifications/replay/2862657/4900564011377002008

My mid season report on the M3 is that it suffers a bit from understeer, but it does have a very good rear end. TBH it is a decent car and probably a decent choice for the less skilled amongst us. Not sure how fast it is around a lap, it has decent straight line speed but not sure around the corners, so I think it is middle of the pack. Only thing is that it is a little bit thirsty, but that is probably worth it for that lovely high revving V8 noise :)

As for my new wheel, I am still struggling a bit with braking. The brake pedal on my old T150 was basically the same as the accelerator, but on the new Fanatec CSL Elite you have to stamp on the brake to get the car to stop. Going to take a while to get used to it. The wheel also has better, and more powerful, feedback so it is slightly easier to catch a slide but more effort to use in a race.

Yeh that's fine 👍

@Bivittavus88 there's a guaranteed space for you on the Round 4 Suzuka entry list if you can make it mate. It's due to me not being able to make the race (as you know already).

As soon as work finalise the December schedule, I'll let you know. They're leaving it damned late, this month.

Edit: Same applies to your Brands race, too.
