:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!!! :gtpflag:

Tonight is the 5th Round of the SRM World Enduro Series! We head to Fuji for 90 Minutes of full throttle action! Be prepared for the chance of inclemate weather towards the end of the race. And remember there is Performance Impacting Damage, so keep it clean thru the first couple laps.

I’m pushing back the start of the race to 8:45PM EST, hopefully that’s enough time for @Xradkins and a couple others to make it? Lobby still opens at 7:30PM EST.

@SGETI & @yogi bear, haven’t seen you post anything. Will you be able to make it? Still spots available if anyone thinks a friend might like to join.

See you tonight!

I am so pumped for this. I've been doing Time Trials with the Ford GTLM, practicing and putting in final touch ups.

I will open a practice room in a few minutes.

Edit: Room is open (Public).

Saun  Shaun, approximately how many open spots do we have?

I just have to point out your typo for my name, 2nd time so just wanted to be sure you were not confused. There is an 'h' in there, props on the 'u' though!

2 spots for sure, likely more.

Not sure what happened. I'm driving then all of a sudden I get a message saying 'You have been disconnected from the room.'

Lately, it seems like I've got one problem or another with this game on a daily basis.
I'm on the verge of losing my patience and calling it quits until they fix things up :banghead:.

I feel you bud. I've had the same happen to me on more than one occasion. Sadly, they won't fix it. That's how it's going to be. If it makes you feel any better I DQed myself trying to push Mike into the pits after he ran out of gas. Stupid move on my part. But all in fun, I learned that once you cross the pit line, all cars ghost. :embarrassed:

Hell of a race fellas. Thank you for sticking out the restart, and the grueling tarmac of Fuji. This race went to show that pitstops make a pretty big difference, and not to get content and assume you have everything set right. That messed me up for sure.

Big Huge Congrats to @CB_racer for taking that Oreca to Victory!! That car was almost left out of the series and I readded it last minute. So happy to see a fast and consistent driver take on a non-favored car and bring it to victory lane. Also congrats to @The__Camel for his usual domination. 7 weeks before the next Round at COTA with GT3 and TCR machinery. Think about those picks. I'll post up remaining driver's picks later on.

Meanwhile, hope most of you can join us for the Marathon of Madness starting next week.

we have another update. @HazardLvL4 I am wondering if your lack of grip last night was due to item number 2?

Project CARS 2 - XB1 Update 1.7.1.0

  • Adjusted issue with the number of drivers in an online game to allow for private broadcaster/director games without a broadcaster role being assigned.
  • Resolved a problem where custom setups would be reverted to defaults when pitting.
  • Fixed an issue where qualifying penalties were only applied to the host in an online game.
  • Fixed a problem with loading the "Loose" tuning setup when the game language was not set to English.

Or maybe the default setup had too much grip. I dont think I slipped a tire until 29 laps in. I had to let Mexi by at one point because it seemed all of a sudden the grip just left.

Calm down mphile ;)
Anyhow
I should be back next week, everything’s sorted, except the papers haven't came in the mail yet.
Found a picture of mikes first bike. Imagine the damage I’d do to myself falling off one of these things...940DEA2B-01BB-4381-9B15-2B0EB7695544.jpeg
Technically I took the picture, didn’t find it.

That picture is a clear glimpse into the mind of Colts. An olde-timey bike and Halo Warthog side by side. It says so much about you!

Sorry, but just what part of what I wrote lead you to believe that I wasn't calm?

Just so you know I practiced for that race all week and have well documented here, that I switched my work schedule just so I can make the race.

Maybe, I take these things more seriously then others.

Who is Mphile ?

Actually, (thankfully) it wasn't any glitch that caused my lack of grip issues on Tuesday night. I got back on last night and was able to locate my mistake in my setup that caused my lack of grip issues in the rear end of the car. I made the correct adjustments and retested, car has immense rear-end grip at Fuji, for any future events.

:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!!! :gtpflag:

Tonight we begin the Marathon of Madness!! This week is Road cars. Be sure to take a look at the tracks and which car you might want to drive. But remember, based on scoring it could be beneficial to take the more difficult combos.:dunce:

Short races, so don’t get too hung up on trying to make the car the best it can be. Default tunes with soft tires and a light right foot does wonders.

See you tonight!!
