Whats the new rebell strategy?

  • 111R and Evora at Fuji N3 550pp

The Suzuka tunes usually work well on other tracks. Its often just a question of adjusting the gear ratios a bit.

And perhaps the brakes need a tad of adjustment. If there is at least a Suzuka or Fuji event we'll only need minor adjustments. Not so for a HSR or DR event though, that would require more tuning.
 
To all the recent members who have expressed an interest in joining the race, don't worry if your name hasn't appeared on the Battle Roster, it will as soon as Rune gets to a PC. He's on a typical Norwegian Hairy-Chested Viking Expedition to Sweden and will reach a terminal soon 👍

I'll support you on your one make suggestion you made earlier. Only with the tuned 111R - thats just crazy i think.

I gave my tune another whirl and came up with some new ones that are a LOT better... first attempt was whack... link is the same so give it a spin since I am actually kind of embarrassed at that first attempt :) 👍

I did try out your tune and I'm waiting to test out your new one. Please tell me if the links I've made dont work as the should.
 
According to this post, I think the closest thing to the old events is 650PP Daytona Road. Unless you guys want to run 550PP N3 on Fuji. :)

Good thing in Fuji would be that we need not wait at start, and after few corners punters could not catch us anymore.

Oh, the link still works (111R)... I just posted the new tune in the same post :) so both of them are there... I recommend the new one though... it felt WAY better and the gearing is better as well....
 
Im putting out a poll. Fuji or Daytona? - If the tuners dont mind to much I would like to check out the tuned 111R on Daytona too.

111R and Evora at 600 pp Daytona, need to change set-up, but only a little, is this a rolling start?

111R and Evora at 550pp Fuji, more of a change with the set-up, Evora cannot reach 550pp and i can see having a lot more punters/hacks/useless drivers/muppets who have difficulty with N3 tyres.

111R GT Tuned at 650pp Daytona, fresh tunes needed, takes time and practice, effort gone into 111R and Evora wasted.

I voted 111R and Evora at 600pp Daytona, figure out a way to start the race (maybe all peel off and go down pit lane, to either stop and start there, just an idea), minimal changes to cars that have alreay been tuned/provided, rumour as it a one make car event on the horizon, why not the 111R GT Tuned for a later date.

Just some thoughts from a back of the pack racer driver

Cool, then I can get cracking with the adjustments! 👍 and hopefully the chosen track will work with me more... :lol: I was having a hard time at Suzuka with the 111R :ouch:
 
I think I would like most Fuji too... and what closer to 500PP, that better.

I've run there today with Tuned 111R, and it was very funny bugger, and very stable with 550PP too. Those basic Elises aint very fun rides with full PP's in my mind.

Fuji could be good track because there is so less players now. Easier to get everybody to same start I think.

...remember, there is two different Tuned Elise to choose ;)
