Sometime two years ago I bought the X-Wing and Tie Interceptor Lego "Ultimate Collector Series" models. Boy they're cool. Recently they made the Rebel Blockade Runner and a Star Destroyer.

Tonight I'm starting to assemble the Rebel ship.

Watch it happen!

Edit: Well you missed it! (:

New image every 30 seconds, manual refresh.

AAAhhhhh .... well I finished it last night while GTP was down ... I'm going to make a site of the "time laps photography" I did with the webcam.

SORRY!

Here's the final for the Rebel Blockade Runner

Thats really awesome. I wanted one of those, but never got one.. I'm more of a Lego Technic fan anyway! :p

Edit: Wow, i like the time lapse thing.. Dang, that this is HUGE! Good work! :eek:

I really like Technic a lot as well. And now the programable Mindstorm stuff is getting really cool. I've been meaning to get a couple sets of it and see what I can come up with. They actually have a place on lego.com for builders to post what they've made. Some guys are writing additional software that the "smart brick" dumps data to. Check out the stuff this guy has made! A Lego Rubik's cube solver ... now that's impressive.

You mean you actually have the big bertha I mentioned before with 3000+ pieces? - Jesus I bet that cost some money.

Geez, I wish I could build that kind of stuff the guy on the site did. On TechTV about a week and a half ago, they had a guy who built Lego versions of the Segway. They could autoright themselves and had the ability to balance also. I wish I had a link to it though because it is really neat.

I'm working on the Star Destroyer now.

I won't get very far before I head to dinner at 7 (CST), but you can watch this much.

Sweet! *watches* LoudMusic, you're my idol. I cant believe you can actually affford these things. Where are you going to put em?

For all you fans that want to watch LM build his Destroyer and dont feel like refreshing everytime you want to see a new image, go here:

http://refluxed.servebeer.com

I have his webcam up there, and it automatically refreshes every 30 seconds.

Hope you dont mind, LM. ;)

Well all it is is an iframe with an html file that has it refreshing every 30 secs. Heres what i used:

Code:
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" Content="30url=LMCAM.html">
<body margin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" bottommargin="0" rightmargin="0">
<img src="http://24.144.18.184:85/webcam.jpg">

Thats the code i put in the html file, and then i used an iframe to include that html file in the main page. :)

Spiffy shoes there, LM. ;) :lol:

Oh, and heres the iframe code i used:
Code:
<iframe width="320" height="240" border="0" src="LMCAM.html" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" vspace="0" hspace="0"><font size="1">Sorry, you cant watch. Your browser sucks.</font></iframe>

(Incase you didnt know, save the html file as LMCAM.html ;))

Ha ha ha, actually I finished the first "triangle" and turned the page to discover a "2 X" - essentially saying "do it again, sucka!".

Well I didn't have enough room so I had to move the other one.
