I try to go to http://www.google.com.au and I get this message

Does this mean that there is something up with my PC, my ISP, or is Google having issues? It started suddenly, when I first turned on the PC it worked, and then about 20min later, it wouldn't go in, I have run spybot and AV, but nothing, and a reboot didn't solve anything.

Windows XP Home SP2
Firefox 1.5.0.7

You're hijacked, I think. That's not Google Australia's IP address, it belongs to Dodo Australia. They are probably not the ones trying to send you to the page, you are probably being sent by a "search assistant."

I put "search assistant" in quotes because there's no such thing. Anything that presents itself to you as such is adware, and will direct your searches to "hits" that represent their advertisers' sites.

You need some good adware/spyware software, like Spybot or Adaware if you wan free stuff, Webroot's Spysweeper if you don't mind a small fee.

well, I was using Dodo as my ISP, but I have changed to Adam Internet, perhaps I need to ring Dodo and ask then how to sort it out?

-EDIT-

Ok, it seems to have fixed itself! Very strange!
