I'm bored, GTP's on the fritz, join my club.

I don't care what you T00L fans talk about, so long as it's kept clean.

And here I am talking as if anyone's going to join this club...

T00L RULES

I'll be responisble for posting the "T00L lyrics of the day" if you dont mind :D 👍

Album: Undertow
Track #1: Intolerance

Our guilt, our blame, I've been far too sympathetic. Our blood, our fault. I've been far too sympathetic. I am not innocent. You are not innocent. No one is innocent. I will no longer tolerate you. Even if I must go down beside you. Because, No one is innocent.

Yeah, Tool are amazingly incredibly cool. I just wish Maynard wasn't so hung up on anal sex :yuck: but I understand he was abused by his stepfather.

Oh, okay. The only reference I can find to anal sex in any of Tool is in their song, "Stinkfist". That's more about fingering/anal fisting though.

Tomorrows lyrics of the day will reflect on your statement,.. and it wont be words to stinkfist ;)

Same here, Prison Sex really isn't even that bad, compared to some other songs, anyway...

Okay then I'll just wait and see, it's probably a song that's not from Aenima, Undertow, or Lateralus. Probably either Salival or Opiate.

Think about the fact that the guy was 'abused' by his step-father, THEN read the lyrics below from Prison Sex,.... pretty brutal, but at the same time, a lyrical masterpiece. 👍

Track #2: Prison Sex

It took so long to remember just what happened. I was so young and vestal then, you know it hurt me, but I'm breathing so I guess I'm still alive even if signs seem to tell me otherwise. I've got my hands bound, my head down, my eyes closed, and my throat wide open. Do unto others what has been done to you. I'm treading water, I need to sleep a while. My lamb and martyr, you look so precious. Won't you come a bit closer, close enough so I can smell you. I need you to feel this, I can't stand to burn too long. Released in this sodomy. For one sweet moment I am whole. Do unto you now what has been done to me. You're breathing so I guess you're still alive even if signs seem to tell me otherwise. Won't you come just a bit closer, close enough so I can smell you. I need you to feel this. I need this to make me whole. There's release in this sodomy. For I am your witness that blood and flesh can be trusted. And only this one holy medium brings me piece of mind. Got your hands bound, your head down, your eyes closed. You look so precious now. I have found some kind of temporary sanity in this shit blood and cum on my hands. I've come round full circle. My lamb and martyr, this will be over soon. You look so precious.

genious,.... pure and simple,..........

Then there's 4 Degrees from Undertow, a reference to the fact that the rectal cavity is approximately 4 degrees warmer in temperature than the vagina.

And the X-ray picture of a spine and pelvis on the inside of Undertow showing a large vibrator in the, ummm, location in question.

And if you lift up the part that holds the Undertow CD, look what's there. A strange picture.

BTW, neon_duke, how do you come across knowledge like that?

I can't show you the strange Undertow CD holder picture, because the only picture I've ever found of it, the website it's on crashes my computer.

Both. Just go into Google images and type in "Tool Undertow" and it should be there somewhere. It involves a cow.

T00L fact for the day: Did you know that Maynard went to West Point?... it's true 👍

T00L lyrics for the day:

Album: Lateralus
Track #7: Parabola

Swirling round with this familiar parable.
Spinning, weaving round each new experience.
Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this
chance to be alive and breathing.

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. we are eternal.
all this pain is an illusion.

Actually, I don't think it was West Point. But he did go to a private Military Academy.

From All Music:

Like the late Ian Curtis of Joy Division and Robert Smith of the Cure, Maynard James Keenan (vocals) of Tool isn't afraid to unseal the hidden miseries of everyday existence. Born and raised in Ravenna, OH, Keenan joined the Army in 1982. Keenan attended the United States Military Academy from 1983 to 1984, but quit to pursue a career in art, enrolling at the Kendall College of Art and Design in Michigan. During the '80s, Keenan was a member of two bands, Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty and TexAns. Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty, also known as C.A.D., recorded one cassette, Fingernails. In 1993, the release of Tool's debut album Undertow brought frontman Keenan into the spotlight of alternative rock stardom; Keenan's grim lyrics and cold, angst-laden vocals appealed to both goth rockers and heavy metal enthusiasts. A Kiss fan since his youth, Keenan covered "Calling Doctor Love" on the tribute album Kiss My Ass. In 1996, Tool's second album, Aenima, further widened the group's cult following. In 2000, Keenan released Mer de Noms with his side project A Perfect Circle. The album was a critical and commercial success; it even reeled in Tool detractors with the relatively mellow track "3 Libras." Keenan followed Mer de Noms with Tool's third album Lateralus in 2001.

Why have I plugged allmusic.com so much today? I don't work for them, either.

Actually, they're wrong about the sequence of albums. Opiate was released in 1992, though it is only an EP rather than a full album.
