Tachometer 3 light's diferences????

Hi:

I asummed that:

Red light = Rev limiter & shift point.
Green = No idea.
Yellow = no idea.

Please can someone clarify my ignorance. thanks!

first light to come on (green i think???) is peak torque and yellow is peak horsepower.....although when they light up is a little dubious at times for some cars!......unless its a big american V8....then its hold on and keep of walls.

Unv412 is right. The green light is the location (in the RPM range) of your peak torque, and the yellow light is your peak horsepower.

Nothing dubious about it -- it should be accurate, although many cars produce almost as much torque at lower RPMs as they do at their peak torque RPM.
