Tcs????????

i was washing our honda odessey and then i turned on the car and saw a TCS light then searched for a TCS button i found it and was like WOW there is a traction control system in this. i didnt even know that thats pretty cool anyone else got an 02 odessy with TCS.

Traction control's been standard on the Odyssey EX since it came out in 1999. It became standard on the LX (the base model) in 2001. I wouldn't say it's anything to become excited about...

I'm pretty sure all cars accelerate faster with the TCS off unless you're in snow, or rain, or something.

TCS sucks in most snowy situations. (on my car at least.) However, I'm sure TCS has saved my life on a occasion or two before.
But even in the snow, I turn off TCS. It's almost impossible to get the car moving with it on and it tends to come on too early, therfore freaking me out and causing the situation to become worse than it was to begin with.

Snowy roads with TCS off and RWD = A lot of fun! :D

Odysseys forever! Actually, I never found out the purpose of having TCS on a FF car. It supposedly works well, though, my mom loves it while goin' up hills in 12 in snow.

BTW, If I know our Odyssey well enough, isn't the TCS light on the TCS button?
