El Camino tune for GT6 oh my. This car is a must buy as it can be used in so many races and performs great. I didn't go all out on this as if you look at the date posted GT6 has only been out a few days and most people will find a tune with limited tuning much more beneficial compared to a full blown race tune. It's pretty easy to drive and has lots of power. Just watch the gas coming out of corners and you can usually brake a bit later then you think. Best part about this car is you can change the looks from the show car style I went with to basically a full out truck.

I always used your drift tunes, I need them now more then ever with this new... uhm.. "system".

P.S.

Please do topspeed tunes.

Thanks, I will be doing exactly like before just new ones lol. I'm having a problem with my transmission settings so I'm just waiting on that a little before releasing anything. Plus I'm broke which doesn't help lol

right now my grinding race is the one on Brands Hatch in international A I think it is, you get 40k a race for about 7 mins of easy work or do the goodwood runs, I think I made 2 million lastnight doing that and those races.

The Japanese series in iB gives pretty good payout and are pretty easy to win even with a 500PP car.

Using my fully tuned 500PP Storia X4 to win 30k for 4 laps of Suzuka is nice.:D

Nice I have just been playing normally and making alright cash, but I know I will get stuck soon so thanks for the tips. I haven't even seen Bspec mode, but you are right that is always a good way for cash as I go make sandwich lol.

If you want I could help you on some tunes, generally I do NOT, but I MAY. I like to keep my good tunes secret but you are the only good garage online. Seriously their should be a top speed section for Wangan and Route X, yes I will submit the tunes.

I have top speed tunes they are listed under track tunes since they are specifically for route X

Oh ok! Excellent!

Do the GT5 tunes happen to carry over to GT6? I did the drifting one for the RX-7 and its ok, my drifting is terrible in GT6 so far.

I tried shmo's 190e tune from gt5. It works alright. I cant tell if its the tune or just me getting used to the physics

It's the physics that are different. I haven't tried any old tunes yet, but from what I have tried things are just a little different.

BMW M3 04

You have already seen the BMW M3 drift version so of course it needed a race version. This car is already maxed out so it's only right to get the most use out of it. I find this car identical to a laser guided missile. I have tried it on many tracks and this thing is glued. It doesn't have huge power so it's hard to get out of control with it also. I made it for sports soft, but even imagine how awesome it could be in racing softs.

I already know what you are thinking. Get this stupid electric car out of here and bring on the Ferrari's! Don't worry we will get to those, but trust me if you haven't tried this car you are seriously missing out. It is the ultimate sleeper car. No engine, no transmission, no performance parts and I still smoke all the Viper and Corvette's etc. I bought this car to do the American cars only race kinda of as a joke. I figured it would be funny to upgrade the engine etc on it and blow by them, but after blowing 90k I realized you can pretty much only upgrade suspension and weight. I did all I could and expected to lose really bad, but to my surprise I won! I won all the American car challenges, all the muscle car, and a bunch of other races in ib with this car only. I only had one loss to a Ford GT because I went off the track right at the end. The reason it can win so easily is because of the instant acceleration out the turns and my expert suspension setup. Since there are no gears it just goes immediately when you hit the gas. The only issue you will have is I wouldn't slam the on the gas right out the corner until you are straight or have accelerated a little bit already. The instant torque can sometimes spin the wheels too fast causing the rear to oversteer a little. It is nothing compared to a Viper or really any other car, but that is literally the only problem.

I saw this and it was time to put down the coffee, it's not often you find someone other than myself who like's to see what the leccy vehicles can do, well at least in Forza that was the case and you know what, people where missing out because some of those could go top 100 on the leaderboards.
Anyhow back to Shmo's Tesla 92K lighter in my piggy bank and then the extra for the upgrades, if you have the Anniversay Edition you will end up with these figures PP524 443HP 1503kg, a bit more oopmh at the cost of some weight.
Well first thing I did was move the slider to drop the power, thats just me I like to see nice figures like 500, unless I was entering a higher PP event then I may be tempted to put it to the max. At 500PP the weight is still 1,498 but the HP is down to 366, I figured I may be better sacrificing the power rather than making the old girl heavier, women, weight, taboo subject.
Took it to the Nordschleife and decided I would run a lap, 12.95 miles of easy driving.....hahaha who am I kidding, my first lap was all about pushing to see where she would snap or what she couldn't do, come on even if the blokes full of talent at tuning you don't expect a relative of the milk float(older Brits may understand) to do well at the ring. I was right she bit back twice on that opening lap and all because.........................of me, lol, yup not the tuners fault, me seeing how late I could brake and finding out I left it a tiny bit to late, hence the opening lap time of a 7.56.

My second and final lap was going to be it, I hate hotlapping and especially at a track which is so long. The car can cope with the kerbs, once I figured that out I was driving like you should when there's no caravan on the back....fast as well you know what I mean. She coped with the corners more or less fine, bags of grip and the brakes do the job as long as you don't leave it too late like me.
My only downer about the car that the tuner built was maybe to do with the camber as I'm not sure if it was that that makes the two carousels something to be wary of, luckily I found that out on lap 1 so this time round I left enough speed to coast round without any painfull consequences.
The tyre noise is a pain in the ass and especially as it sounds like you windows are down with the wind blowing through while your out for you Sunday drive, Sunday drive, no way I'm pushing on that gas pedal as hard as I can because I think I'm on a decent lap, although I don't really know what a decent lap is round there. Handle the last part of the track after the long straight with no problems and was straight and steady under some heavy braking in them final corners.
I crossed the line with a 7.44.184, who knows what the faster GTP'ers could do with this.
Very impressed with my first out in not just the car but in Shmo's tune as well.

Keep up the good work,

thanks Bee9.

Thanks for doing a more in-depth review. The camber is more than usual because it has to win on the corners and not the straights. Top speed of the normal one is 135mph, but it flys from fast acceleration and tight cornering. As I said in the description you have to slightly watch the gas out the turns as it can spin the tires too much causing you to slide. You shouldn't be slamming the gas right out the corner on any car anyway however lol.

I enjoy that it is silent, but it does suck that the only noise you can now here is screeching tires. I prefer to run in sports soft because it performs better and there is less tire sound.

I think the top drivers could probably do a 7:30 on the ring, but it should be able to go way faster if it's "transmission" would allow for a higher top speed. It's definitely a car to watch out for that no one would expect to be good.

7.30 at the ring, nice, happy with my 7.44@366hp
Just running it at a few other tracks now, looks the part as well compared to whats usually on offer when you go hunting for something electric.

Ya the car is pretty impressive overall. Looks very normal, but performs really well. I want to try it out in an endurance race because it should really shine there.

Dodge Challenger RT Race Car '70

This GT6 tune is designed specifically for the Historic Racing Car Cup, but can be used anywhere afterwards. Just like in GT5 the current GT6 has a historic cup car race that is super difficult. It is only 3 races, but they make you work for every second during it. The only prize car up to this point that fits later than 1979 is the Dodge Challenger, but the regular one is just not close to being able to win. Luckily the Dodge Challenger R/T Race Car '70 can be bought for $175,000 and once fully upgraded it's only gonna run you about $230,000 which as far as I can tell the cheapest possible option for doing these races. The itself is pretty good, but has huge amounts of torque that made the car insane to drive. I tried as hard as I could to tame this beast, but the extreme amount of power and torque mixed with relatively low grip on the tires still makes it a challenge. You can see the miles I have on my car and that is just from these 3 races only. Even with this tune it is not easy at all. I won them all after many laps of practise. Ironically I came second or third so many times I actually made enough money for the exact amount the car cost me to begin with.

A heavy majority of the cars in this race are pretty easy to beat, but the 2D, 2J and Toyota 7 are all extremely good race cars that will always be in the top 3 spots. If you just can't beat this I suggest just leaving and trying again as sometimes you will get lucky and there will only be one of them during the race or none at all. I beat all 3 races with all 3 cars in the race so it is possible to win, but you better be a pretty good driver and prepare to get frustrated from losing. The BEST tip I can give you which was the difference for me was always shift at 5000RPM rather than the red line which is at 6000RPM. At high RPM that is where all the power is and if you exit a corner in that high of an RPM your tires will spin very fast causing you to slide a tiny bit. Once or twice is not a big deal, but trust me every second will count as the races are so tough. Being in one gear higher than they suggest still gives you lots of power to get moving, but not enough to spin you out. Everything about these races are about being smooth as possible. If you use the racing line I noticed the red brake points start very early and you can/have to brake much later. Practise will be your best bet to win. Remember stay focused, shift at 5000RPM, be as smooth as possible, and most importantly good luck.

How are the drift tunes coming? Sorry but your race tunes just dont fit my driving style, i follow your garage for the slidewayz fun! your drift tunes usually fit my driving perfectly, so Im very excited to see what you come up with!

I focus more on racing at the moment because people can actually use them for races since the game is new. Drifting in GT is an after thought so will do many more after everyone has beaten the game and has money to blow on fun tunes. However I do have another one that I was gonna put up today but my PS3 crashed when transferring the pictures twice so I said screw it and walked away. Gonna try again today to get them and tune up in the next day or so. Probably try and do another on Christmas too.

Drift garage is here and I got one up so far https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/team-shmo-drifting-bmw-m3.293494/#post-9074421

Ya i have been using your M3 tune and love it so far... Im still getting used to the physics, but the tune and car fit my driving very well, like most of your tunes, Ill be keeping a close eye on your garage. Thanks for the tunes and keep em coming!
What do you have your eyes on for xmas btw? quite curious

Ya I don't actually like drifting much in GT6. They have changed it too much where it is really weird. My points have went to almost half of what they would be in GT5 and the cars don't feel the same. However I am trying really hard to make tunes for drift that feel as close as possible to GT5 and what everyone is used to. It is harder than you would think and calls for some crazy settings.

I got a S13 I think it was coming up super soon and for Christmas I'm not sure yet. I don't know what the most Christmasy car is or what car Santa would drive lol
