So yeah, wow, what a day! :dopey: I got my driver's license! I've waited and waited for this and now it's finally true, I get to drive my Mercedes (legally, that is :dopey: ). I'm so freaking happy right now :dopey: But yeah, I just wanted to share this veeeeeery important information with you guys. Now I'll go and take her for a ride. Can't wait to hear the beautiful roar of the 2,3 liter 16 valve engine (It's the 190E 2,3-16, if someone didn't understand. I think it's a quite reasonable first car :) ) I'm off to some country side cruising :sly:

And before anyone says this doesn't belong here, I'll say that I really don't know where it would fit better, then...

And now you guys can congratulate me :dopey:
 
Congrats on your new license just drive smart. By the way which license did you get...Bronze...Silver...or GOLD. Did you hit any of the pace cars. Haaa!! Yes I know you got your real license just thought I'd add a little humor for you.
 
I hope they don't catch you ridin' dirty, but since you've clearly got your hands on a "Pimpmobile" of sorts, you should have plenty of fun, how do they say? Rollining for beyotches?

Either way, have fun, be safe, always wear your seatbelt, etc.

I'm going for the theory exams in the first week of juli. The i can practise 3 months before i can go for my permanent license.
And i'm also thinking of doing the exams for motorcycle, but that depends on how good i make the car exam :)

Nice, you managed to get your hands on an infamous Mafia car as your first vehicle.:lol: But that's a nice car. I really like 190E's, especially the Evos. They're so...classy.
 
I would have killed to have an E30 M3 as my first car. Congrats on driving its rival (take good care of it!!!). :)
 
It's not an M3, it's a 190E, different car, different manufacturer ;).

Congrats with the car, get some pics up, they're cool cars. Just be sensible, most people crash in thier first year of driving, make sure when it happens to you, your doing a safe speed and not driving like a lunatic ;).

Give us an update on your first day of driving. Hope it was a safe one with many more to come.
 
Awesome ride! I wish I had such a sweet car when I started driving. I've always hated driving the Volvo, the GTI made me really love to drive.

Good luck! Don't do too much stupid stuff. That car will probably push you to go faster and faster.... Have fun!
 
Wow it was fun yesterday :p I went driving to a road where I know are some of the most beautiful scenery here in Finland. I opened my window and smelled the fresh air as it rushed to the cabin :) It was so relaxing. I'm really not the type of a driver who you'd expect me to be with the Merc :dopey: I'm very calm behind the wheel, never doing anything to "show off" to my friends or anything like that. Well of course I tried how the car goes yesterday, but that's just so that I know the limits of the car so that I could actually drive safer (knowing how fast the car accelerates is very important knowledge in my opinion). So, I'm still alive after my first day with the license :dopey:

And the pics of the car are coming as soon as the updates on the car are done (new headlights, new side mirrors, some interior stuff...)
