It‘s the year 2025 and SuperGT and DTM have managed to agree on a Class 1 rule set that makes their cars actually competitive in both series so that teams in both Germany(/Euorpe) and Japan(/Asia) can select from quite a wide variety of cars from both countries.
The newly founded team Orion Draft Beer Yokohama Racing team teamed up with Audi Sport to enter one of their now built to race spec VGT cars in this years SuperGT series. A few well known partners such as Sega, ANA, Kyoaho and Kenwood also jumped on board to make it happen. The car was then presented to the public in Tokyo and a first shakedown was held at Fuji where photos of both these events can be found in the spoiler :D

Thanks for reading and hopefully casting a vote in the poll for it

SAXTON HYUNDAI WEC 2025

I can resize this down, I was hoping the gallery version of this post would only limit the width rather than both the width and height. Let me know if this image is too large!

I have to be honest, I don't really like any of the VGT cars, to me they're all too simplistic and formless. They lack the complexities of proper race cars and the compromises that help put real shape to road cars. So, I decided to try and do something different and along the lines of my MGS: PW livery I did for fun a few months back and make a fake press announcement!

LOVE the extra effort. Great job mate

After starting late due to Golding the Lewis Hamilton DLC I came up with this. Based on Emerson Fittipaldis first F1 car the Lotus 49 in gold leaf livery. I designed this as a possible one make race/track day special livery as that's what this car was mainly designed for. I started with the gold base and masked to the red and white along with leaving the ground wing gold was a lot harder than it looks as I wanted to use the shape of the body with the design as apposed to just a straight line across the body of the car.

OK. So apparently this car has a little issue when a livery is posted for it. I checked a few others to make sure it wasn't just mine.
The John Cooper works badge on the side seems to be a bit messed up in the livery image... but fine everywhere else  :odd:.

Also...

#67 version.
Air Canada MINI VGT-R

Full Sport Mode package. #7
Air Canada MINI VGT-SM

'Always Evolving' 2025 Hyundai N Le Mans 24hr

Link to livery: https://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gts...lery/all/livery/1309219/1/6134470044800812081

The year is 2025 and Hyundai are set to make their Le Mans 24 hour debut with the Hyundai N, a car which was formerly a concept created in partnership with Polyphony Digital. Hyundai teamed up with USA racing and tuning specialists; 'Always Evolving' who set about making their own LMP debut after many years of success across GT500, Touring cars, single-seaters, endurance and other GT series. The 2nd picture shows our car battling with the Mazda LM55 which wore a throwback livery to the classic Renown Mazda 787B.

I enjoyed creating this livery, the Hyundai VGT is a wonderful looking car and I felt the simple but striking Always Evolving themes fitted it well.

Hope you enjoy

As we're approaching the middle of the century some guys pretend they're about to create some new anti gravity vehicles and are already speaking about a specific championship.

As the new technology isn't ready, they're still making cars with 4 wheels.

The brand new AG-Systems Company associates with Chaparral to present their 2X VGT.

Rumors say Chaparral will be the official maker of the new championship and we've heard about an incoming Piranha 2X VGT.

Stay tuned...
