OK, so, it's been a while. Let's see if I remember how to do this... :crazy: :lol: FINAL ENTRY [GALLERY=media, 121949][/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 121950][/GALLERY]
[GALLERY=media, 121951][/GALLERY] [GALLERY=media, 121948][/GALLERY]
McLaren PD1 GTR Suzuka Edition. Sticking with McLaren traditions, this is a pretty simple livery with minimal "decoration" to take the eyes away from the gorgeous lines of the P1 GTR. A special one-off show car, this special livery was intended for reveal at the 2021 Japanese Grand Prix, to be piloted by Polyphony Digital's own Kazanori Yamauchi, in a special "Hypercar invitational" event being hosted during the GP weekend to celebrate the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 7. McLaren had planned a matching livery for their Formula One team for the race, but sadly this never got to see the inside of the spray booth as the events were cancelled due to "ongoing global situations". Based loosely on the existing style of the MP35/35M liveries, the design was chosen to maintain as much of the original aesthetic of the cars lines as possible, so the main body elements are simply painted in one base colour, with Liquid Metallic Silver similar to previous McLaren liveries, chosen to replace the familiar papaya. The coloured insert pieces have been designed using Polyphony Digital's logo as a tile element along the sides and the bonnet shows a solitary logo zoomed in as a backdrop. The majority of the lower aero parts were left in naked carbon to save a little weight (every virtual gram counts :lol:), but they did coat the upper rear diffuser element and front winglets PD'S purple to give it a bit more colour. OK, apparently I need a bit of help with this new version of GTP. How do we get spoilers to work?:embarrassed::confused: PPS. Got it 👍
