Decided to make this out of boredom. I looked through the entire Political Compass thread and plotted every member's (except for those who are banned or inactive) results. This is what it looks like. For the members who did not list the exact coordinates of their results, I did my best to estimate them. If I forget to include you in this compass or if I messed up your score feel free to let me know.

Here it is:

Because there are so many points plotted it's almost impossible to see who scored what just from the graph, so here's what each member scored individually:

There are a total of 58 members on the graph. Here are some demographics:

Total # of Libertarian Left: 32 (55.1%)
Total # of Libertarian Right: 17 (29.3%)
Total # of Authoritarian Left: 5 (8.6%)
Total # of Authoritarian Right: 4 (7.0%)

Total Left: 37 (63.8%)
Total Right: 21 (36.2%)
Total Libertarians: 49 (84.5%)
Total Authoritarians 9 (15.5%)

Most Left Member: @GranTurNismo
Most Right Member: @Danoff
Most Libertarian Member: @polysmut
Most Authoritarian Member: @Adamgp
Most Centrist Member: @Ze Elephant

So from this data, it is clear that the GTP Opinions & Current Events forum leans heavily libertarian and somewhat to the left. Though there are many active members in this forum who haven't taken the test yet, so that could possibly skew the results. Though if you're an American, which most members who took the test were, those who represent you are likely not even close to what you scored:

Enjoy!

Damn @polysmut I'm going to need to up my Libertarian game.

I was considering posting something similar. But the Libertarian party is bottom right on that plot. Marxism apparently shows up lower left.

Edit:

I like that you can see my name on that plot. Like... there's Danoff, over there away from everyone else.

I like socialist ideas but don't know how to reconcile that with my current state of awareness of individual rights.
Socialist ideas don't inherently undermine individual rights/freedoms. Most people who identify as "socialist", whether it be democratic socialist, anarcho-socialist, syndicalist, etc, fall under the libertarian left category by a significant margin. Bernie Sanders is the only mainstream politician in the US who falls under this category.

The people with the most unique views (or at least, uncommon for the site) seem to have their names the most visible on the chart. Based on your most recent score you seem to significantly farther to the right than anyone who's taken the test.

Side note: I wonder what Ron Swanson would score. He'd make even @polysmut look like some power-hungry authoritarian.

I'm more of a conflicted than a libertarian but a win is a win.

The path I take with that is voluntary cooperation. Provide means for people to enter into socialist agreements themselves, but don't make it a universal requirement.

I thought I posted my results for the compass at some point, but I guess not. I don't really like the questions they use anyway, so I don't give much weight to the results.
