I'm not going to do a detailed review, but I will say that this is an absolutely hysterical film. It's excellently written, wonderfully paced, and beautifully rendered.

The story centers around a family of superheroes forced into retirement. I won't give any spoilers, but like all Pixar films it manages to be happy and positive without lapsing into Disney's sickly sweetness and inanity. The characters are well designed visually and well scripted and voiced.

The CGI are breathtaking, with really good textures and great character design. The music really fits the mood as well, with kind of James-Bond-esque overtones.

It's almost 2 hours long - 1:50 - and not a minute of it is wasted. Definitely four big thumbs up from our family.

I've always been a fan of Pixar movies. This one seems like it's going to carry on it's tradition of quality 3D animation with the inclusion of a good plot, voice actors and script. Just in time for the Christmas period aswell.

Yea, ditto on that review. Lots of fun. Good story, good characters, excellent pacing, humor and action. It is a very smart film that somehow pulls off the intentionally campy premise with a level of wit and flair that pleases adults and kids alike. Pixar is an amazing studio that seems to be bursting at the seams with talent in every creative field.

Good flick. Recommended. 👍

Finally Pixar is able to show us that it doesn't need the DDC (Dispicable Disney Corporation) to put out quality kids' movies (though some people don't classify The Incredibles as merely a movie for kids, since there are plenty of jokes for the parents as well).

I can't wait for it to come on DVD. I'm looking forward to this one. The boys saw it with their aunt, and loved it.

Saw it last night on a date. We both had a good time, despite the people behind us who a) wouldn't shut up and b) laughed at anything and everything in the most hysterical manner possible.

My room mate went to see it without me - evil prick. But he says it's pretty fantabulous, so I'll be seeing it later this week. (:

just got back from seeing it. it was a good movie. funny too. it took my half the movie to realize who the voice for the bad guy was.

Jason Lee. gotta love that guy.

Who is he? I thought it was Gary Busey, until I read the credits. He was good, whoever he is.

"You married Elastigirl?! ...and got busy!"

Jason Lee is a staple of Kevin Smith movies. Chocolate-covered pretzel, anyone?

-"Whoa, that was totally wicked!" :dopey:

Seen it yesterday night, awesome movie, definitely a must-see. It's the most enjoyable CG movie I've seen to date. 👍

Jason Lee was also a professional skateboarder for Blind in the early 90's you can see him on a few skate videos. i know he's on Video Days. he has a pretty good 360 flip too.

I'm pretty sure i read that he's recently joined a new skateboard team too this year. not too sure though.

This is an awesome movie, I really enjoyed it. As neon pointed out, it has excellet CGI. Certain scenes really made me wonder if it's all graphics.. or the real thing. For example, the explosions and water look terrific! 👍!

Anderton Prime
Yeah it was called "Boundin'" but it was just okay...not as good as their previous ones. This one's about a sheep who finds his talent...?

Damn. I just watched Monsters Inc. a short while ago. I loved the short about the stork and other little birds... Midgit Magpies.

It is a good movie. Check it out if you haven't seen it already. The Incredibles is pretty incredible! ;)

Overall I have to say this movie is worth watching. Especially if you have kid in the family, they will love it.

Increadibles was good for adults as well as kids. Excellent flick - quite possibly pixar's best yet (and that's saying quite a bit because toy story, finding nemo and monsters were all quality).

I didn't really enjoy Finding Nemo. It was pretty good, but all the crazy over Finding Nemo, I just was expecting too much from that movie. I was pretty dissapointed.

The Incredibles on the other hand, I thought it looks pretty lame from the commercials, but was I surprised. It was actually the best out of all that you have listed.
