My first full GT7 style/livery creation!

Toyo Tires Silvia Qs S13 Drifter

An original livery for my first drift build, using an angled look for all the main side decals, hinting at the angles this car will be exhibiting!

Rallye Monte Carlo Mini Cooper S '16

Based on a livery concept by 811 Design, adapted to suit the '16 Cooper S and given a more generic Mini vibe, complete with widebody kit and rear wing. Thanks to @Seebsma and @krisduv for their help making the necessary decals!

GReddy/Trust GR Supra GT4

Another GTS-built, GT7-perfected livery, originally by 811 Design.

Designed as a Greddy/Trust sponsored entry into the European GT4 Series, carrying Greddy colours and sponsorship all round, finished in a semi-gloss texture. GT7 allowed me to get the windscreen banner and the rear window decals correct as per the original design concept (although I'll admit the 99 on the rear window is the wrong font until I can source a useful decal).

I decided to take the Supra to the salt flats for this photo shoot. It works incredibly well to show off the colours against the simple backgrounds and those reflections are so effective at doubling up the impact!

Alfa Romeo Orlen 8C GT3 GTWC

What if: Alfa Romeo Orlen F1 Team entered the 2022 GTWC with an 8C? I would like to think it would look something a little like this!

Vaillant Porsche 917 Living Legend

The classic Vaillant Porsche livery from the 934 grafted onto the 917 Living Legend body and adjusted to suit the very different body shape. Sponsor decals updated to the modern versions but kept as simple as possible for that retro feel.

Advan Subaru BRZ Daigo Saito

This was a reinterpretation of the GR 86 driven by Japanese drifter Daigo Saito, complete with the iconic Advan livery, made for the recent "Stripes" Livery Editor Competition.

I decided to switch up the brands and used the older Subaru BRZ (just before they dropped the new BRZ in the game!) and replaced the gloss black of the original with gloss carbon twill for that lightweight race car feel. All decals are identical to the Fat Five Racing drift car, except for the obvious switch to Subaru Technica International from Gazoo Racing.

Fat Five Racing Sunoco Prius

Potentially controversial, but its definitely one way to give a Prius some attitude! Wide body kit, green Work wheels and a livery straight fromone of the GR Supra drift cars of Daigo Saito's collection. Based on a late 2021 livery, adapted and adjusted to fit the Prius body shape.

I may be biased, but I think this makes the Prius look pretty potent and a little less like a generic Uber cab from London!

Huy Fong Sriracha Ferrari 308

I recently came across a pretty interesting concept by Davide Verdis to prove sriracha sauce goes well with anything! I decided to have a go myself and transferred his concept over to the Ferrari 308, and I'm pretty happy with the end result!

TRD GR Yaris #99

A revamp of an old livery I created in GT Sport and recently imported into GT7, finished off with the last remaining touches not possible in Sport. This livery is my attempt at recreating a CGI rendering by Abimelec Design on Instagram, although there are obvious limitations (like the inability to have different wheels front/rear, remove bumpers, and paint over headlights!)

I wanted to evoke the original intent of the concept by the artist whilst working within the limitations of Gran Turismo and I feel like this creates a very realist attempt at a track-day-ready, daily driven GR Yaris with that nostalgic IMSA GTO feel.

Sonax AMG C63 S

Based on the iconic early '90s Sonax 190E from DTM, this is my take on the concept by @livery_magic who had the brains to modernise the old livery on a newer model AMG. It works so well with the C 63 body shape, and that blend between aluminum base body colour and glossy decals pops in the right light perfectly!

IMSA GTO Audi quattro Gr.B Rally Car

Continuing with the retro remakes, here's an IMSA-inspired retro rally beast. For this livery I took the epic Audi 90 IMSA GTO and translated the livery onto the Audi Quattro S1 Pikes Peak '87. That old boxy, super-wide road racer translates well onto the mad S1 Pikes Peak body, and almost looks better! It's just a shame the Goodyear tyre stickers can't be white instead of yellow...

Alpine Miami '22 A110 S

Browsing social media after the inaugural Miami F1 race, I came across a couple of pics of the T-shirt Alpine commissioned for the weekend, worn by Alonso and Ocon around the circuit over the weekend. I felt like the colour scheme and styles would look decent on a livery, so I jumped into my favourite Alpine and adorned it with this funky Miami-inspired livery!

To show off the livery, it made sense to take the car to Miami and further afield in Florida to fully capture those Miami '2 vibes. All these pics were taken in the Florida area, as they should be!

Wynns Ford Mustang Gr.3 Road Car

Livery Magic does some awesome stuff and shares loads of it on Instagram. I loved his creation of a Wynns sponsored Mustang, so I decided to adorn the Mustang Gr.3 Road Car with my version of it.

For this photoshoot I took the car on a short tour of Canada, around Vancouver and in the forests. Because, why not?

The bright colours against the white base layer create a nice bold colourful contrast which is instantly recognizable on the track. I wanted to use my race number, so the obligatory 85 has been snuck in on the front quarter panels, and I decided to add a Wynns colour stripe on the bonnet to finish up the front end.

Wise Sports Subaru BRZ GT300

Back in the 90's, Wise Sports sponsored a Toyota Cavalier in the JGTC with mixed results. I found the livery while browsing through old JGTC and SuperGT photos and thought it would be fun to bring that old livery back to life and create an alternative livery for the BRZ GT300.

Aside from switching Toyota and TRD to Subaru and STI, and Motul replacing BP, all the original sponsors have returned to the campaign. The colour scheme introduces a dark metallic green against the white and grey, and the wobbly stripes are replaced by angular colour blocks and stripes.

The original car wore the number 60, as does the new 2022 car, to stick to tradition and hopefully bring better results to the race number!

Fuji seemed a fitting scene to showcase this new livery in all its 2022 glory, some 25 years since the original car took on the JGTC. Plus a quick run around Lago Maggiore for kicks...

Spoon Sports Honda Civic (EK) Touring Car

My take on the classic Spoon livery, for the Civic Touring Car. I wanted to keep the iconic colour split but have a play with the transition between the two and change the positioning of the decal layout.

I started with a crack/decay style decal to split the two colours. I experimented with a bunch of different versions and eventually settled on the decal you see here which is one by Burelli (look up his gallery, it's extensive!). I then added a massive "Spoon" outlined text decal which @McDotter kindly made for me - followed by a load of sponsor decals all using the white text/black outline style scattered around the car in a bit of a race/drift fusion style. Splashes of red around the car give it that little extra touch, seen on the windscreen banner, and the Yokohama and JDM grenade decals, and make sure all the prime colours are accounted for! The livery is finished off with a window-mounted race number on the side rear windows and a race number on the bonnet - switch these out to your own if you feel the need!

Mugen Monochrome Fade Civic (EK) '98

I wanted an eye-catching livery for my K20C1-swapped EK Civic and I came across an old concept by Livery Magic for a CRZ race/street style using a large Mugen logo and a monochrome splash transition from front to rear. I wanted to achieve the same effect but with a more fragmented look - in my eyes the triangular, wedgy shapes work well with the shape of the car - so I went for a layered fragmented fade decal (again by Burelli, as per my Spoon Sports Civic Touring Car above) to transition from white up front to black at the back.

Sponsor decals run along the side skirts and the front and rear bumpers, blacked out windows contribute to that street feel, and some small final touches around the car complete the look.

What better place to photograph a street-style Civic with big Mugen kanji livery than the night streets of Japan?

Back in GT Sport days I had an alt account for online racing. It was fun, but I didn't use it that much for online races, really... So I decided this time to fire it up and turn it into a drift account. I'm working my way through the menu books and licences at the moment, but I've bought my first car and created my first drift livery with it. I need to get stuck into it properly and get the drift tune perfected, but for now here's a sneak preview of my GReddy/Trust Nissan Z Performance drift car:

Essentially a copy of a concept livery by Davide Chiappini, recreating the 2022 Alfa Romeo Racing livery onto the classic 155 DTM Touring Car, and I personally think this combo looks epic!

I wanted a pallette of red hues alongside monochrome tones, so I took it along to some of the scapes in Japan. But also it's a race car, it can't not be seen on a circuit, so off to the Nurburgring we went!
