I'm currently doing a project for my Sociology class on cults. We were given a large list of cults to choose from and i chose The Moonies. I havent had more than an hour to work on it all week due to many problems.First of all, i have to work after school every day and cant quit because i need the money, secondly, the stupid firewall at my school wont let you enter sites that contain information about subjects like violence or conspiracies, which basically means no cult information for us.and last of all, our school library consists of maybe 700 books, most of which are old encyclopedias(sp?).
Im wondering if anyoine happens to know anything about the Moonies or Sun Myung Moon and the Unification Church that they could share here so I had some info to use for my presentation. I'm going to try to stay home from school one day next week but that would mean falling behind in my other classes(financial math being the worst). Any help you guys can offer would be appreciated.
