Just watched the replay of my fast lap since i couldn't believe it myself, I think I may have "trimmed" a few corners, may need to go to the race review board for adjudication.
Happy to accept a penalty.
Consider putting race limit penalties in place????
Apart from that, great race👍
I'm not worried at all about that. I've done similar, often by mistake. The problem with the penalty system is that it can be really harsh at times and ruin a race for someone. I HAVE thought about it though. If we were a more competitive league/group, I'd say we should. But I think I'll leave it off, it sorta goes against the vibe

It's only a game (some may dispute that) & we're out to have fun. There's no money or points involved but if there were ............? ;)

Just a quick note, and I want your guys' opinions- what if I switched to Saturday? It may work better for me, but I don't want to lose this group
I'm open for anything. Count me in.

Here's some of the goings on in the 1st warm up race.
Note; I took no pics of any spin-outs, but there were a few.

PS; other race pics to follow.

I didn't see a chatroom ... :-(
@Benny44 didn't have 1, but 1 of the Discord players opened 1. You should have been able to join it by checking chat rooms & even if you are not a friend of the owner, you can join if a friend is in that room. Sorry, we didn't think to invite you.

I'm easy, I may not be able to join every week whether it's Saturday or Sunday but will try my best because it was just such fun, and you all seem pretty chill too.
Do you all know each other in real life?

Thank you for hosting. Too bad you missed the chat room tho. Lots of laughs.:lol:

Ok thanks for the info. Maybe next time I figure out how it works.

Also, a thought on the whole tuning ability thing, and I'm still catching up on today's messages so apologies if you've already resolved this, how about a warm up race with stock standard cars, either same car or different, like the sport mode but without the douches trying to deliberately you of the road ( accidental is ok)
I know this is like Sh1z wacky race but at a different time for us overseas racers.
And racing should be close
(Emphasis on "should")

What will be the goal? The tuning or the close racing?

currently working this out, actually!

Going to try and create something supplemental during the weekdays (during evening time over here, not sure how plausible that would be for you @Mooseldorf but I want that jag tune) to this effect. It won’t be preparing for the specific races on Sunday, but it’ll tackle various questions that keep coming up.

very uncompetitive, do a couple races in similar cars (how much the tunes vary is still in discussion - while it’s easier to coach people if they’re running the same exact everything, it’ll be good if people who have set up a given car can openly discuss their individual setup preferences). potentially alternate every week between sprint races and something requiring pit(s), so people with various strengths can add tips. The idea is that anyone who is faster could be there to explain how and why they’re doing things, and to review the replays for teachable moments.

@PapaGnr i may send you a more detailed message as the idea forms to see what your availability is (and anyone else reading this is welcome to pitch in!)... I’m going to try and start with cars that I’ve tuned to a point where I explain what happened, so if you’ve got any old/weird/slow/hatchback/tiny cars whipped up, we may be able to use them as a point of reference.

Sounds intriguing, whatever you're cooking up. I'm pretty much available any time you'd need me.

Edit; I know that a lot of players rely on @praiano63's tunes as a benchmark for their tunes. I'll check his out if I'm having a problem, but I can usually get a car to handle to my liking, although someone else would consider it rubbish.

Waiting to see what the future holds.

Finally got around to watch the replay of last Sunday's main event at Blue Moon. Here's some of my photos.

This is a great idea!!!😁👍
I think your evenings are my mornings so I'll struggle unless it's a Friday night your time.
I'll join if & when I can.
Im defs no tuning expert, very much like you as far as stick it on and see what happens.
Happy to share the Jag tune, promise you won't laugh.
As far as pit strategy, also great idea, I just won the Grand valley race because everyone else ran mediums and didn't pit so got a 1 minute penalty 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of the daily races is with the Alphard brick...worse than the jeep.
Take it easy
