--------------------
About Us:
We started out as a small, specialized tuning garage under the name of T-Spec Garage in GT5 on August 8th, 2011. With big aspirations to deliver some of the finest tunes for competitive touge racing, T-Spec Garage enlisted the help of some of the touge scene's most prominent characters in order to fulfill its mission to become the number one tuning source for street racers.

We then changed our name as we broadened our array of tunes from only touge so include Wangan, Drift and Track Day setups. Since its inception, TheCardboardBox Tuning Co. has produced a number of award-winning tunes and served plenty of happy customers in the touge and wangan community.

We look forward to continuing to serve our fellow street racing friends with tunes of the highest quality and performance in GT6 as we did in GT5.

That is our mission!

Mile 1,290: Conquer the mountain pass roads in this lightly modified yet competitively tuned FD. A strong contender on the uphill, you'll give 4WD a run for their money... provided you caress the throttle and avoid getting sucked in by the walls.

Mile 3,230:
Completely revamped and hosted for Game Version 1.10.

Mile 4,850:
Flat Floor Upgrade removed. Increase in power.
Suspension has been retuned for the drastic decrease in weight. Differential braking sensitivity adjusted for greater control during corner entry. Base custom transmission setting added.**

Mile 8,900:
The car has been fitted with ride height and spring rates from Tein's Control Master Monotube Coilover Suspension. The transmission has been adjusted (3rd and 4th gears). In addition, the car has been set up to comply with LotS's Balanced Class regulation.

Mile 10,225:
Time once again for an update on my most driven touge car.
Transmission: Final gear from 3.5 to 3.250 for a little more punch.
Differential: Lowered acceleration sensitivity from 20 to 18 to help the car slide with less effort.
Power Parts: Removed Sports ECU and added intake tuning and sports cat. Now max power and torque arrive 800RPM sooner.
-----

** The transmission settings are a base which you can adjust to your liking and driving style without disrupting the vehicle's overall balance.

It's actually a great thing that you posted these setups because it somewhat gies in hand with what we're going to be attempting to do with the tuning shop.

Let me start by saying that I'll be testing that FD setup of yours since I'm gonna be getting that car as I've finished the Type R. @Slender_Man Would you mind trying out his R1 setup?

__________

Also, I'm going to reveal in this post the next phase of TheCardboardBox Tuning's plan.

Later today, I will be introducing our "Le Garage" feature.

The Touge scene is heavily influenced by the community. You are what keeps us going! So this next feature is dedicated to you all, the drivers and rivals that keep the fun and competitive spirit alive.

Le Garage will be a new section in the OP of this thread where we will be presenting themed Project Cars that will be built by us with input from the community. These cars will be tuned for specific vehicle classes (LotS Class S, A, B, C or Wangan or Track). In most cases, the featured vehicle will be one that is relatively tricky to tune and/or drive, or a vehicle that isn't an obvious competitor in any given class.

The purpose of this feature is to help teach fellow drivers the principles of tuning for the mountain pass and to get the community involved as a whole in building something together.

The changes and improvements to the cars will be logged and notes will be provided on all aspects of the setup's progress. If your input, ideas and settings make it to the finished product, you will be given credit for your contribution.

The first of many cars to be featured in Le Garage will be the Nissan Silvia K's Dia Selection (S13) '90.

I'm already loving this idea bro.. and thanks for testing out the tunes! If by any chance you like them, feel free to add them to your list my friend! I've helped myself to some of your tunes before, so it's my time to give back!

Notes:

226.3 Miles: Introducing Project "Missile". An old beater S13, stripped of most of its weight and with a considerable upgrade in power, built for LotS Class B touge racing. These are the power/weight specs this car is to have, these will not change. But what I do ask input in is everything else. This is your car, people, this is your chance to have your voice heard. Your input will make or break this car.

Currently, it is running a Racnig: Soft suspension and a custom LSD. Acceleration is quick, thanks to the 5-speed cross-mission. Light weight allows it to brake later than most cars and turbo power ensures it has plenty of oomph on exit. The biggest issues currently plaguing this car are, as expected, understeer. It's considerably front-heavy but being so light, it can be forgiving.

If you want to be a part of this project, feel free to buy yourself a Premium S13 and install the parts described abovew and share your feedback and input on this thread.

348.8 Miles: @LightningKing contributed to Project "Missile" by way of a complete setup which can be found here. My comments on it can be found here.

I decided to take the ride height, rear spring rate, Anti-Roll Bars and front damper rates and apply it to my current setup. I decided to keep the 5-Speed transmission over the 6-speed because of the greater level of control afforded by being in the power/torque band longer.

The settings above have been updated to reflect the changes.

483.7 Miles: @FussyFez went and posted a peculiar setup for Project "Missile" here and my comments on it can be found here.

I applied his L.S.D. setup and tweaked it a bit, but credit goes to him for the base. Also from his setup, I'm using the front and rear spring rate (even though I had already had the same figure in the rear springs, no fuss) and Anti-Roll Bars.

I started fiddling around with wheel alignment after a few horrible accidents running Fez's toe settings.

The settings above have been updated to reflect the changes.

533.8 Miles: @Onboy123 posted his 180SX setup here, and my comments on it are here.

The dampers on this setup are ideal for track use, especially when combined with the L.S.D.. Quite frankly, it's brilliant... but on the touge, it's a different story. It grips so much, it's so stable, but in the heat of battle on the touge, you can''t use the grip to its potential when you have another driver either right behind or right in front of you. With initial torque at 10 you have to take the wider arc around a corner and it's a fast line. In rouge driving you rarely have much room to maneuver around opponents. With initial torque at 8 you can still take a wide arc around a corner but it's tight enough that mid-corner adjustments aren't ill-received.

That being said, I took the L.S.D. and lowered the Initial Torque for a bit more control in close quarters. The suspension has also been adapted.

The settings above have been updated to reflect the changes.

883.2 Miles: After testing and comparing this car with many other S13's online and incessant tweaking of the settings, thanks mostly to the help of the community who contributed to this project, I'm finally proud to announce that the first community worked project from TheCardboardBox Tuning is completed.

I present to you, the SCUD!

Hey Solid will you be installing a FC suspension in the Silvia at some point?
Won't be able to do much about handling without being able to adjust the suspension.

Not home currently so can't do any tests but have you tried some different LSD settings or is that just your initial rough starting point?

Yea, of course. But that's how it current;y have it set up. The 200+ miles I've ran in it has been getting a feel for the car with the soft suspension as opposed to diving right into the setup. The thing about the touge is the constant altitude changes and lack of flat roads for the most part so I wanted to know how the car would behave under a bevy of circumstances before making any changes that would do more harm than good.

Ever had the effects of the envious jealousy? This '07 WRX has been tuned with nothing but handling and speed in mind.....
Hi! No oil change. 0 km. It gives 507PP, 378BHP and no downforce available.

The compression/extension order in GT6 settings is switched. It would be good if you (CardboardBox) will change the order too in the layout to avoid the confusion. 👍

Can one Pride themselves too Much? This little Lotus pride its self on being top of its class with its lightweight body and handling to cut through corners like butter....

First I want to thank you for the tougue and wangan tunes from GT5, I used some of them.
About this, what are suposed to be the wheels to use? Stock? 17', 18' or 19'? Because I tried with 18' and the car feels a litle loose and I don't know if is the problem with custom wheels only using the front tire width and you setup with stock wheels, or if the new driving physics don't make the car feel so planted. I use a DS3 with ABS at 0 and BB 5/4. Oh, and I tried first at matterhorn(those ups and downs could help with the loosiness). I tried 18' because of the photo.

Thanks in advance.
