Hahaha Mike, you know that's baloney, but hey, if it helps you sieep at night you go on with your bad self.

Release drivers for them like their competitors did for their old wheels.

There's next to nothing "new" about the G29, it's just a G27 with a parts bin rim and a hall effect sensor to scam people into forking out more cash for essentially the same wheel they already have, and I bet they do the same thing again with the next console gen lol.

No they didn't, because Fanatec released drivers for all of their old wheels any newer than PS2 era.

Fanatec wheels do work on the PS4.

The PS3 didn't support any and all racing wheels, but anyway, how is it Sony's fault that Logitech refused to make PS4 drivers for their wheels? A Fanatec wheel from 2009 is supported on PS4, but a Logitech wheel from 2010 isn't, and that's Sony's fault?

Bottom line is Logitech didn't want to spend money making a wheel with newer tech in it than their old wheels, so instead, they've thrown together a G27.5, and sold that instead, and by refusing to add G25 or 27 support to PS4, they've guaranteed owners of those wheels will need to buy a new wheel, which they hope will be the G29. Why would someone buy a G29 when they have a perfectly good G27 if it worked on PS4? They're practically identical.

No it's not crap, and I think everyone understand exactly why Logitech went down this particular route. The difference between them and their competitors is this:

Logitech rehashing the same old wheel design yet again, but refusing to support their older wheels on current gen, to try and boost sales of their new wheel.

Fanatec support all of their last gen hardware on this gen, because their newer gear is significantly better, so supporting their old gear isn't going to stop people buying the new stuff.

Thrustmaster also support their last gen gear, because they are trying to make wheels at multiple budget levels. Offering the T150 as their low end wheel, while supporting their old low end T100 PS3 wheel, because it's not going to take sales from the T150 due to not being as good. Offering the T300 alongside the T500 PS3 wheel, because they've made them different enough in specs and price to actually divide opinion on which one is the more worthwhile purchase.

Thanks Mike_grpA I'm glad I read your comment, saved me A lot of typing  I'm glad @Gunstar liked the comment too. Logitheft (Logitech) should be ashamed of themselves. Sim Racer looking for Hardware should know what they are investing into, (The Good AND the BAD) I bought A Thrustmaster T300about A week ago, but I know about the reliability issues reported on it too thanks to GT Planet, So I also purchased a 4 year extended warranty. None of these business companies is forthright, So we as a community need to stick together, and inform each other, when advice is sought in this forum, that's what it's here for.
:gtpflag:

I just liked it because we went round and round about the same thing a few weeks back.

You can disagree if you like @Gunstar but @Mike_grpA comments reflect the majority of Logitheft G25 and G27 Users comments on GT planet, I'm so glad that when the PS4 was released I called Logitheft to check compatibility, they stated to me they didn't have that information, So I waited even though I wanted A G27 Soooooooooo Bad:eek:, I'm glad I waited because I would have been A Logitheft Victim too. I will see how my Thrustmaster T300 hold up, So far I LOVE IT! :D And even though issues have been reported with reliability, Thrustmaster has taken prompt action in servicing or replacing:tup:👍 Thrustmaster Customer Service AAA.

Hahaha Mike, you know that's baloney, but hey, if it helps you sieep at night you go on with your bad self.

Nope, I know it's true. I don't need help sleeping, since I wasn't suckered into buying a massively overpriced G27.5 just because of Logitech's marketing, but you believe what you want mate, don't let those pesky facts get in the way of your beliefs.

Speaking of Thrustmaster reliability, does anyone with a T150 have a progress report on how they are working? I've thinking about buying a wheel at some point. I don't have G29 or T300 money (wouldn't buy either even if I did that money), so I've been thinking about picking up a T150. Are they any good? Are there any issues I have to be weary of with a T150 if I did buy one?

I have the wheel from two months and works very well.
My brother dropped the wheel accidentally() on the ground from half a meter height, the steering wheel landed on the rim without damage 👍

Oh wow. :( I bet that you weren't very pleased with him.

He was very lucky that it didn't get damaged.

I've also had one for a month and it's been great. No issues, and have my G27 pedals working with it.

Hi guys,

I just received my T150 yesterday and I go on my game today to find that my brakes stick on all the time. Does anyone know why?

Had mine a week and it's gone a few degrees off-centre. By no means unplayable, but pretty irritating. Anybody had similar issues?

I have never touched a T500 or T300 wheel before. I did try out the G27 on GT6 and i think DFGT(?) on GT5P before.

While i was at a mall, i went into a game store and saw the T150 in both PlayStation and Ferrai Versions.

First thing i noticed? I noticed that the steering wheel itself felt cheap thanks to the amount of plastic it has compared to the "leather" on G27.

The buttons is fine and the paddle shifters clicks feels rather nice.

Shame that i couldn't try it out. :(

Hey guys, I have had a T150 for 3 months now and the rubber has started to wear away, not by much but I was wondering how I would go about repairing or even replacing the rubber on my current wheel if it becomes that big of an issue further down the line.

Thank you in advance.

If you have the dosh, time and patience then I'd say get it leather/vinyl wrapped. Then you'll be sorted for days

The TMX design gives it a less "toy-like" appearance than the T150. Nicely done Thrustmaster.

I agreed that TMX looks better than T150. I guess the problem with T150 is it was trying to match the standard PS4 theme, black and blue. And for those who live in the US, Amazon have started accepting pre-orders for the wheel which will in in 2-5 weeks just in time for Assetto Corsa on Xbox One Haha.

Finally, I'd also added the TMX to The Ultimate force feedback "Wheel Buyers Guide" for Game Consoles and in the poll if you own and recommend this wheel.

Most Forza Sim Racers use A controller such a waste for such a great Sim, One of them commented that xbox1 should produce a controller with a clutch, maybe this will inspire them to get a wheel now, I have a Thrustmaster 458 Spider wheel only $100.00 they don't even want to spend that little for immersion, I think I may just get the TX servo base since I already have A T300 for my PS4, but it's hard to find clean lobbies in Forza Motorsport 6, It almost seems like a waste of investment because of the Forza community. but I do love FM6 though maybe I will take the plung and get the TX Servo Soon.

About time! When Thrustmaster unveiled the T150, I hoped a Xbox variant wasn't far behind. I'm glad Thrustmaster made this, it is a great price point for a FFB wheel. I hope this does well. It should.
