So... My wheel still shows the little bars for the brake and accelerator even when I adjust the pedal dead zones

Still wasn’t happy being in 206th place with this... so I carried on....

Didn't improve but became more consistent... Look at that optimal 😱

So went again and well...

What can I say, I always do best with slidey cars 😁

I would keep going to try to get an alien time but I really need to get ready for the AMG VC 😅
Well done, huge improvement 😲

From m’y last session, this sunday. I see on your leaderboard that @Jeje6410 become to close 😅

That is a real descent time on the board mate!
Congrats! 😁😁
You are save from me 🤣 I am a one week man then I hop on to the next one 😁

Great job! 👽

Hi,

Gutted!!!

Only had time for a few laps tonight. I managed a microscopic improvement and this one finishes at a moderately respectable 1:50:147. Just about 1500 in the rankings. Less by the time it finishes.

It is definitely progress from me, so I am happy. No I am! Really happy! Honestly! Happy as a pig in....

I am really gutted, because I honestly feel that I was beginning to understand the last big right hander at Dragon Trail.

Until the next one folks.

Very best regards to all here.

Ian.

Okay, I think you are the person with dirty potentiometers?

I used to have to tear apart my G29 pedals weekly. Literally open everything up and clean with rubbing alcohol, etc.

An older guy I race with said, he has had that problem also until he sprayed WD-40 all over the potentiometers. And I know that shouldn’t work. But, it totally has and it’s been years of zero maintenance since I did. I can’t explain it, still don’t believe it, made a slippery mess that leaked on the what was a nice wood floor, but I haven’t had to do a thing since.

Let's start with the important part: I fixed the issues with the GTPlanet TT Assistant plug-in, it should now hopefully work again for everyone 🤞 ... however you need to update to the new version via the link in my signature.

In other news, I managed to squeeze another tenth from my Vulcan PB. This wasn't my best ever S2 split at 1:05.713, but a pretty flawless (for my standards) S3 at exactly 21.000.

That was just enough to pass @Dolph Drago and, amazingly, regain P1 on my friends board. 🤯

Listen, I realise that the Vulcan doesn't get nearly as much love and track time from you guys as the M3, but it still causes a major case of imposter syndrome for me 🤣

Also, inspired by @Jeje6410 's post I checked my stats and realised that this will be the 6th top 1000 and 5th top 500 in a row. Feeling pretty good about that!

(I am obviously not considering the Michelin Lake Louise event here which, luckily, we do not and will never speak about in this thread 😜)

I'll be away from the PS5 until Sunday. Happy Halloween to those of you who celebrate it, and have a nice weekend everyone.

Wanted to get some last minute improvements on the Dragon Trail time trial since I really enjoyed this combo and happy to report I succeeded. Lap time of 1:48.496 which is a 0.041 improvement from my previous PB of 1:48.537 and honestly I could have went faster on this lap but I kind of messed up on the final turn and on the exit of the chicane but regardless I'm happy with a sub .500 time. I look forward to the next time trial!

@crome, you receive a :) for fixing the plug-in, but a :grumpy: for passing me in the Vulcan.

Anyway, since tonight was the last chance to improve my time in the M3, I gave it a looooong go. I was really hoping to get under 1:49. It took over 200 miles, but I did make a gain! Of .011 seconds...:banghead: I ran a lot of 38.6 (and even a handful of 38.5) sector 1's. But on my fast lap it was a .785. Ugh. I guess 1:48's were not meant to be for this TT. Nor a top 100.

Morning folks,

Congratulations to all you guy fighting each timetrial and posting insane times on the boards.
Aliens popping out of nowhere here these days!.

I kind of have had it with the running TT's for some days now and just can't drag myself to try over and over again on cars that are not that crazy happy on the handling, but that's just me, maby to many hours so enjoyed the other things on GT7, blasting around the Ring instock Ferrari's made me smile again instead of beeing frustrated.
I't like my "one week efford" begins to get even smaller now, it's more like 2 or 3 sessions and i'm beginning to losse my interest, even on the ones where i am descent high on the ranking, Lake louise for example, i was top 20, now 38 but i just don't have the motivation to try again, i know good progression would be possible but just don't feel like mega trying.
So respect to all you that keep hammering! , gimmy some mojo dudes!

That said, i had one morning left to set a time in the Vulcan and try to uppen my place on the board between you pricks 😘
Very annoying handling on the Vulcan, the understeer on rotation is difficult to manage because you can't get on throttle to soon, to help it rotate, lifting of seems to help a bit, but i hate having to get to 1th gear to rotate :lol:

It's a fun challenge, but now i quite had enough of it , but seeing the new trial....... i don't know about that, i see myself in tankslap heaven already".... we will see how fast we can go sideways :lol:
Lots of corners on autopolis are sideways material :lol:

But....... did make a little jump on the Vulcan

@crome i'm sorry my man :lol: but you have a weekleft to try, peace i'm out on the damn Aston :lol::lol:

I am very happy with this result at Dragon Trial where I was able to obtain a ranking in the top 1000 for the fourth time in a row. And this is not over because at TT112 with the Vulcan I am currently 704th. And I will definitely come back to improve this time, because this Vulcan on this circuit is really interesting. So why not a 5th ranking in a row in the 1000th.
I'm also happy with this consistency that I've been able to achieve for a few TTs and I'm crossing my fingers that this can continue because I'm enjoying driving these TTs so much.
Congratulations to all those who throughout the TTs obtain alien rankings at each TT and who indirectly motivate us to surpass ourselves and to be better at each new TT.:bowdown::cheers::cheers:

Good drive and enjoy

It's not always easy to find motivation, especially since we haven't tried the TT yet and the aliens have already taken off. My sessions take place late in the evening, i'm exhausted from the work day and i have to sacrifice a little of my sleeping hours to try to scrape off a tenth! I'm a bit like you, there are ups and downs, but I think that little breaks are good and not doing all the TT suits me too!

The results for TT111 at Dragon Trail - Gardens Reverse in the BMW M3 '97 are over here.

I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards.

Here are some interim statistics for TT112 at Autódromo de Interlagos in the Aston Martin Vulcan '16.
