The left hander is pretty much a flat out corner. Maybe apexed too early? Can always sacrifice the first right hander a bit trying to swing the car to the right before flooring it for the left? Also.... don't look at the wall...you tend to go where you are looking 😂
Brake a little harder so you get further right before cutting left into that turn

Spent yesterday trying to improve on Sarthe with the Mazda. No dice.
Today had to abandon the 787 and joined the hordes of C9.

Finally got to know the car a bit and improved my PB slightly.

There's still something left in the tank and definitely going to try to go faster.

From two days ago, just before Le Mans was going to start. Definitely potential for more but can't be arsed to return. The run ain't exactly clean but’ll have to do. The way I jumped over the final Chicane du Raccordement is ridiculous but somehow it worked out okay.

That where two big moments right there, but a nice time!, doesnt always have to look perfect to be fast! 21.8 is no joke 😁👌👌🙏

Near 37 laps (75 kms) today on Tsukuba with good feelings : I've improved my PB at 1:09:804 (-0.194). Silver is maybe secured but I want MORE !!

I'm happy because I play in automatic mode (I see the difference with manual gears on videos, it's impressive) but I must keep on lap again and again to get my 1st TT gold.

There are still some rooms of improvment (mostly on the 2nd sector) as I have a best theoric lap at 1:09:328!!!!

#KeepPushing

So funny sometimes, I thought, wife in the shower.... what time is it then?.... right, TT time 🤣
Did 6 laps on Le Mans but was .800 slower than my PB, just not got the flow today, very strange to be so far off, maby ill try tomorrow for a very short session, not much morning time these mega warm days here cause I'm running heat scheduel and start at 7 am 😁
But right now I'm beginning to be happy with the 24.0 that i did ealier 😁🤣

I forgot I'm away for work tomorrow night and not sure I'll have the energy to last-minute bash this one, so my last attempts will be tonight. Wish me luck guys. Pray that the C9 conforms to the wishes of the gods of le Sarthe and I can get that elusive silver for this round to keep up my run!

Got the time down at Le Mans to 3:21,024 ... Missed the 3:20s yet again... And worst of all I forgot to save the damn lap. So... My only option is to further improve it to save it this time. Another run tomorrow it is.

Hopefully this will be my first top 50 finish ever. For now, I'm the fastest on my country (Portugal) but it seems like Salazar isn't doing this TT (at least for now) because he would obliterate me for sure.

Tertre Rouge remains the pain in the ass to nail, and then it's the first of the Porsche curves where I really have to hug the kerb on the inside but turning at the exact time and speed (it's a tricky high-speed corner, much like Tertre Rouge, but Tertre Rouge is unforgiving with track limits) is easier said than done. This time I was much better on the final two chicanes but was slightly slower by a few miliseconds on the other sections which is why I didn't crack the 3:20s.

That Daytona Chicane! I love the way you just mash the pedal down in 2nd gear out of some of the corners. Wheelspin, schmeelspin! And I don't know how you managed to keep the car under control in the final chicane. Almost like divine intervention keeping the car straight. Yet despite all that, you put down a seriously quick lap. It doesn't have to be pretty, just fast.

Great to be back behind the wheel, although it has been mostly PC2 so far. Yesterday I took part in a Le Mans endurance race in LMP2 cars and tonight was the regular PC2 league I race in.

I did yesterday make time for a few laps around Tsukuba. Enough to get into gold but a fairly poor time- deep into the 1:09s, so will go back to that later.

Before tonight's racing I jumped back into the C9; took a while to readjust to this monster after the gentler LMP2s of yesterday in PC2, but improved a bit to 3:22.799.

Over 120km, of which I recorded 3 timed laps! First was a pitiful 3:32... then I managed to knock less than a tenth off my PB and drop to a 3:29.6... then, finally, over a second ahead I managed to mess up at Indianapolis and ended up only just sneaking ahead of my PB and setting a 1:28.700. Is that a safe silver?! I sure as hell hope so! I haven't got the patience or time to have another go... 🤞🤞

You have 3/10 of a second buffer.. so probably will make it to silver by the skin of you teeth 😆

FINALLY 🥇 !!!

After tens of laps, I've golded Tsukuba with 1:09:722 !!!
But as the gold ends at 1:09:728, I've considered as wise to secure this gold score.
And few minutes later, my Audi TT was faster as ever with a 1:09:335 !!!

This TT ends in 9 days, I guess it should be enough to win my first gold.
(I'll be away from next friday, so aliens are welcome everywhere else)

9.393 here and i think that is 100% gold secured, such a short track no one could possibly gain more than 0.300 form the 1st, hopefully will not touch this understery annoying mess anymore.

Congrats for your gold score ! I know how it's hard to get it :)
You're right, we should be safe at this level of "performance"!

After a gold drought (last one was Gr3 Fiji) currently lined up to gold both these events! Praying Sarthe time doesn’t improve by Thursday morning or I’ll be so bummed out. BTW, I decided to try and gold the CE and holy crap is it hard! Have to hit 3:22 and after driving the group C cars for the TT it’s totally different strategy. That, and you think the track limits are strict on the TT, they are straight up mean in the CE! And you all are too fast!
