Trial Toyota Celica engine?

Does anyone know what kind of engine this car has on? I believe is should be supercharged, as it makes a high pitched buzzing noise proportional to engine revs. Just like a supercharged engine does.

It's a built up 2zz engine. Trial calls it a 3zz and I believe a kit is available to stroke out the 2zz to 3zz specs. Atop the built up engine is a Blitz Compressor Supercharger. 283ps @ 7720rpm.
