Championship details, race results and driver list

Introduction
These cars are powerful and light. They are running only semi slick tyres and so they are a little wild. Default tunes cause mental understeer and so making the setup more aggressive by dropping the front, increasing front downforce, etc, will be required.

Smooth inputs are rewarded, good car control is essential. This spec really makes the cars feel more alive than before.

The races are generally around short tracks, the action should be high intensity and fun.

The cars are very even in testing but if some cars stand out and if this series runs well we will run a series 2, and with that we will impose small BOP tweaks.

Registration

Just post up your desired car, PSN and race number!
Driver Briefing
We will open a 16 slot PSN party chat before qualifying. Everyone is required to join. You are not required to have a mic or say anything. Just listen. We will outline the event, anything to note, reminders of things like pit entry abuse (dangerous pit entry and exit for example, tyre regs, etc).
Tyre Regulations
Only semi-slick tyres to be used (Sports)
Only Medium and Soft tyre compounds can be used
Only one set of Soft tyres can be used in a race.
You must qualify on Soft tyres.
You can start the race on Medium or Soft tyres.
You can change tyres when pitting on the first lap when setting race strategy.

Superpole qualifying
Uses built in quali. 5 min. Only set 1 hotlap (if you go slow or crash, no retry, that's your lap) and park off track last corner, do not get in the way of others although it shouldn't be possible anyway.
Lap 1 race prep
Lap 1 of the race will be a dart into the pits to fuel up to desired amount. Then form up on the track in the correct grid order from qualifying. Just remember what position you were in when you started the in-lap of lap 1.
TSR Grid Starts
Due to going into the pits on lap 1, the race will start at the end of lap 1 / start of lap 2.
Once the person last on the grid has confirmed they're ready in chat, TSR staff will post a lobby time to say when the race will begin.
Ballast
We're trailing a new ballast system this time. Your average points for each race you ran will determine your ballast. This helps when new people come in mid-season, win, and then keep winning due to unfair ballast on everyone else. It also gives almost everyone some ballast, gradually getting heavier with the faster guys.

Approx race time: 20:30 UK time

Races will be ran on a Thursday every week.

In! Just some things: for me it's better if the races start earlier than 9 p.m. or they aren't too long.

We have limited the cars to some rwd cars to ease bop and stuff. See the cars section :)

Races tend to end at just after10pm, maybe a little later.

Possible reserve role? So i can use bmw Otherwise lexus or toyota.

Put you down for Toyota then. Its possibly the best handling.

Surprised no one is going for the Ford. Its really quick!

Practice / testing lobby open at 8pm tonight UK time. Maybe earlier.

Just add me on PSN if you want to take part to be safe, I may make it public though.

Thats a full grid everyone!

Note: Power has been dropped from 450 to 380 in effort to make for closer racing and generally bring the difficulty down a bit.

BOP tweaks will happen in series 2.

We will rely on ballast for this series.

The series will start on 31st October, Thursday. Round 1!

I can still help with tuning if need be, just ask.

Thank you.

Actually, I didn't want to join because I thought they were on Sunday, but if they will be held on a Thursday, for me it's fine!
Can I be a reserve driver?
