Proceeding with a full turbo replacement. Should have just done this in the first place. Turbo in the posts above was only good for ~260hp to the wheels roughly. New turbo (Pure Turbos Stage 2 K03) is good for 350whp, though I will go mild at first and shoot for ~280whp until I can upgrade the clutch and maybe install a limited slip. Installing this weekend...

Got a nice aftermarket 2.5" mid pipe in to replace the OEM one that had been cut up quite a few times. So made another exhaust video. Definitely happy with how it turned out, doubt I will make any more changes.

I also got some 255's for the front wheels now to finalize the reverse staggered setup.

This weekend I am installing the lip kit I bought months ago (a year ago? lol) and I have a new front grille on the way. Also, Aerocatch hood pins going in soon too.

Installed the front grille and lip today, as well as mocked up the oil cooler and lowered the front 5mm. Side skirt extensions go on tomorrow, rear spats are on the way.

I have made the unfortunate decision to part out the car and sell it. My decision is based on the fact that, as the car sits, I cannot go any further with it without spending a lot of money to make it 100% track worthy. At the moment it gets warm just doing an autocross run, track days on larger circuits will need a bit more work that I've gathered may be in the $5k range. And then I am left with the "ghost stability" as we call it, a stability control programed into the ABS system that cannot be defeated and will be a hindrance to track time.

With that said, I am returning to my roots and will be purchasing a 90's FWD Nissan as a project. So far my list in order includes:
  1. NX2000
  2. Sentra SE-R (B13)
  3. Sentra SE-L ('99 only)
  4. Infiniti G20 (up to '96)
Plan is to swap in a SR20VE (variable timing and lift similar to V-TEC) and run it naturally aspirated. Certainly more reliable for the track.

I will update when the new car has been purchased.

Headed to California tomorrow to take a look at this thing. If its good, buying and driving it home. Has SR20VE swap, transmission from a 2000-2001 Sentra, Gram Lights wheels, Fortune Auto coilovers, and a bunch of other stuff. Pretty excited about this one. If I do purchase it, I will start a new project thread.
