Pater noster, qui es in caelis
Sanctificetur nomen tuum;
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua
Sicut in caelo et in terra
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie.
Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
Sed libera nos a malo.
[Quoniam tibi est regnum et potestas et gloria in saecula.]
Amen.

muscle cars and luxury cars are an "unusual fad"? :odd:
i take it you mean certain stages of popular car design

but heres an unusual fad for ya, kids having a spending spree at halfords on bolt on body kits and fat exhausts for crappy hatchbacks and calling it "individual" :lol: :rolleyes:

EDIT: It seems that you also posted this on Internet Infidels yesterday.... whats with the copypasta job?

Oh well. Where do you see an unpractical design with loads of chrome?

Not on the Celica Camry.

Not on the 1st generation camry. Note the lack of "excessive" chrome. or a emblem jutting out of the grille.

EDIT 2:

WTF? You thing the Muscle Car is an "Unusual Fad"??? :odd:

The only 80's cars i can think of that have standing hood emblems would be a Lincoln, Oldsmobile, Mercedes, jaguar, and thats all i can think off for now.

50's -70's cars were the absolute essence of the word car. Actual medal bumpers so you only have a dent rather than needing a whole new car after a 10mph accident, Styling the beats the **** out of anything that is made today, and engines that just the sound will make you.... well you know.

If you think 50's-70's cars are weird, you my friend need to STOP POST WHORING. (Didn't expect that one did ya)

1. Muscle cars weren't an "unusual fad", and
2. They are still around.
3. I think luxury cars are still around too...*coughcadillaccough*
4. they weren't unusual fads either.

Dert alta, that IS condra...
My '79 mazda doesnt have LOADS of chrome, or "Personal Luxury"
It cost ~$6k us , because it has a motorized trunk opener, windsheild sprayers, AC, stiff suspension, and a "peppy" 2 liter...It also has: hardly any sound insulation, tin sounding doors, crank windows, one mirror, plastic bumpers, a chrome 70's exhaust tip, and seats with no headrests...
Not "personal luxury" and not muscle...not chromey, quality and style

Red cloth interiors matched with woodgrain trim was a fad that came and went, and hopefully stays away for a long, long, long time. I've seen far too many Oldsmobiles and Buicks with that setup, and it is horrible...

...Although, one of the cars I nearly bought for my first car, a 1986 Cadillac El Dorado had the red leather and the wood trip. That wasn't bad, that was just 'big-pimpin,'' and that will always be cool.
