Xbox??? Who is this Xbox??
Hey,
A month ago, I purchased a bicycle suspension part with a brokerage fee of $45 by UPS. I called UPS and they reduced the fee down to $29. Today, I recieved an invoice dated on May,10 saying that there is a Net Payable of $45 and it is payable upon reciept. At the top it says Customs Brokerage Invoice. There is a summary of charges and at the bottom, there is a part to tear and send back to UPS. So is it a reciept since I've already paid my fees or am I supposed to pay $45?

I believe you will need to pay the remainder $19 in customs charges to UPS. Phone them up and double check.

I called them, and apparently I owe them $29 because they didn't process the order. They asked me to check if it was on my credit card statement, and it wasn't. Now my plan is to somehow trick them and save $29....

UPDATE: They just called my house saying I owe them money..... I'm calling them tomorrow as soon as their stores open. I'm NOT gonna tolerate harassment.

It's not harrassment. They paid the customs fees on your behalf, and are simply trying to collect. Customs fees for items you import are your responsibility, not the seller's.

The invoice on May 10 was probably on the way to you, or at least in their system and flagged for sending, before your phone call. It's very common for paperwork to be weeks behind verbal communication.

If they agreed to the 29 bucks, but it hasn't gone on your card yet, then it's not paid. Pay it and be done with it.

"My plan is to somehow trick them and save $29" could be constued as discussing something illegal . . . ..
