Is anyone able to confirm the colour of the BMW 3.0 CSL '71 that's arrived in the dealership last night? I'm away at the moment but trying to collect all the colours!

It's time to put the 1997 BMW M3, added in the 1.49 update, on the milk carton. Every car, other than the two 2000-era cars that debuted with said M3, that was in the dealership when it sold out on 8/12, and a fair number that came back afterward, have made repeat appearances.

Edit - After going back through the archives, there are a bunch of cars (mostly those also available at Brand Central, but several that are only in the UCD) that have been missing from the UCD for quite a while, some for over 2 months:
  • 2003 BMW M3 last appearance was 7/15-7/21 (sell-out date)
  • 2002 Honda NSX Type R last appearance was 7/11-7/24
  • 2009 Audi TTS Coupe last appearance was 7/11-7/18
  • 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) last appearance was 7/10-7/20
  • 2006 Ferrari F430 last appearance was 7/9-7/19
  • 2007 BMW M3 last appearance was 7/9-7/17
  • 2006 Ford GT last appearance was 7/9-7/15
  • 2007 Nissan Fairlady Z Version S (Z33) last apperance was 7/7-7/14
  • 1997 Toyota Supra RZ last appearance was 7/7-7/14
  • 1976 Ferrari 512 BB last appearance was 7/4-7/10
  • 2008 Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) last appearance was 7/2-7/8
  • 2002 Dodge Viper GTS last appearance was 7/1-7/10
I'm new to GT7 so forgive me if this was asked before - cars disappearing from the ucd for over 2 months ever happened before? Or is this some bug introduced in the last updated that pushed these off rotation?
I been looking into ddm999's page and cars seem to be consistently always returning between 3-5 weeks unless they are a brand new added car, this looks very unusual.

Hopefully that E36 shows up soon, I got the game just a few days after it sold out, been fiending for it ever since.

I haven't noticed things this bad in the UCD, but we've had hostages in Hagerty's before.

Can anyone confirm if we ever received the Toyota Supra RZ '97 in Super White II?

...

I've been waiting since the game came out for this color for the Supra, I don't wish I had missed it during the few weeks I didn't check out the UCD. It would really be the last straw for me. 🤦🏻‍♂️

and is the one car that keeps me from 100& clearing again.... it hurts :lol:
but...... it's a long time ago that i log on and directly go to UCD to look for it, so it has its charm

Yeah we should, i was on vacation when it was available and still haven't been able to grab it 😪

UCD Hostage Update - Day 76

It has been 76 days since the 2002 Dodge Viper GTS sold out in the UCD, with the UCD-only 1997 Toyota Supra RZ missing only 4 fewer days, and several other cars also not seen since mid-July to early-August. While the 1976 Ferrari 512 BB returned this past Tuesday, it was as a Special Pick and thus its reappearance in the next month is not a given.

Meanwhile, cars are starting to make their third regular-rotation appearance since the Viper and Supra were last seen. Just as bad, there are only 4 Hagerty's cars that haven't been in that dealership since the Viper sold out, and 7 since the Supra sold out.

Still waiting…911 (964) 🙄

I guess there is a major glitch. LCD updated, but UCD has not.

The Sauber previously sold out on 7/9, the day after the oldest UCD hostage, the 2008 Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) sold out (7/8). Every Hagerty's car that sold out on or prior to 7/9 has now made a regularly-scheduled appearance, and we're only 6 cars away from every Hagerty's car having started their latest regularly-scheduled appearance after 7/8 (1 of those had a "special picks" appearance).

Maybe something to do with a next influx of new Used Cars for a future update? Or possible new feature to Used Car Dealership options? Too weird.

The hostage crisis is nothing new, but I can’t recall independent updates between both dealerships. I don’t mean in terms of cars remaining “Sold Out” and new cars added irrespective of dealership.

I hope they drop a ton of historic cars, historic race as well. If we could only be so lucky.

It'd be hard to imagine what historic car would drop into the UCD. The Civic Type R Touring Car is classified as a beginner's track car. It's a 1997 model and even though it's pretty much a Civic One Make series race car, doesn't fit the Legends Dealership. Maybe if it were the Gathers EK? The Motul Civic has legend status as well.

Spoon Sports Fit and S2000 race cars could fit in with the UCD. Both not quite legendary, but seem to suit the UCD over the LCD. Honestly, I just don't know what race cars and how PD would place them in the UCD.

Don’t need more civics. I can imagine lots of cars. Haha. They might be irrelevant to anything that’s happening right now.

Missing a lot of muscle cars, missing a lot of European sports cars…. Capri, Escort, Cortina just to name a few.

The historic racing cars are what I’m focusing on as you referred to, in regard to being in the UCD. Most race cars are found in the LCD. What historic race cars would make it into the UCD? Not saying we need more Civics. I’m saying those type of older race cars seem more likely to be in the UCD.

I couldn’t see a Group 5 Capri in the UCD. However, maybe a car like Hyundai Getz race car from the past in the UCD. That’s a car like the Civic and Spoon cars I mentioned. Not turning this into a Wishlist, just making a point about the type of race cars like the current Civic TC. Even the Silvia and Roadster TC could have been placed in the UCD. Yet they are in Brand Central.

Ford Capri RS 3100
Greenwood Vette
Mazda RX2
RA20 Celica
Ford Falcon
Cortina
Escort

Basically 70’s Group 2 race cars. We sort of have the bmw, widebody it and tune it. May as well round out the field. Even if they weren’t the race model but could be widebodied and tuned like the bmw can be. So give use a ford Capri, but when we widebodied it and slap some aero on it, voila it’s basically a race car now. Toss them all in UCD, they’re all based on street cars anyway. Gives us best of both worlds. Get some new street cars and some race cars all in one shot.

That’s pretty much why we do have those specific road cars(CSLs, E30s, 190 E, RS 500, R32) with widebody and aero options over their race car models. It has saved PD from getting licences for those race cars. I believe Famine explained a bit about licensing a car, that would include all the sponsor licensing stickers that were on those cars as well.
Yes, I would like all those historic cars. I just don’t see those specific race cars in the UCD where I’d see these more specifically.

Is this the first time the UCD has failed to update, and if it has happened before, was it in proximity to an update?

That’s kind of the question I was asking as well.

I think the closest are maybe cars being sold out over weekends and no new cars added or replacing them. Well, the Weekly Races usually got dictated by the special picks dealerships, but that didn’t happen for this weeks races. Guess we’ll see in an hour.
